1.How to know the cloud service we are using for snowflake ,i know web url shows that ,but is there any way using some command or query. 2.How to connect local oracle database to snowflake or snowflake to Oracle db,i saw ur linked server SQL server video using odbc,is there something for Oracle db also.
How bout some PRO TIPS!!!! Like the alt + shift + up/down function in SQL Server (which also works in SF BTW!!!!!!!).... something like that MIND BLOWING.. please....
I appreciate these tips. BUT it makes no sense to perpetuate hand coding when a GUI could make these functions more convenient. Also now that ChatGPT et al have arrived the user should be able to ask in plain English (Spanish, Hindi, etc) for views of the data. If we pull back the curtain even more, Snowflake ought to have most data cleansing & comparison views built in. At least it should have a spreadsheet-like interface to sort & filter without manually dumping to ubiquitous Excel. Sigma software is trying to fill this bill but their cost & business model is goofy.

Really liked tip #1, the minus/except SQL functions. I’ll try those out next time I’m comparing datasets, thanks !
So simple but so helpful. Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching!
