That looks like my gold I own! Yes I buy a lot of gold and silver bullion, coins, etc. I know I love gold and silver, but what I really like is watching master artisans make beautiful jewelry that will last thousands of years. Just imagine some culture thousands of years in the future, digging up my home and finding all this beautiful metal. The gold will have not changed at all. The silver yes will tarnish but the gold will look like the day U made it. You sir are history...your legacy will last forever!
It is just a waste of resources. It has no utility whatsoever unlike copper that are essential for electronics. You think future generations will look into your boomer gold?? Fuck it, they will remember more the smart phones, satellites and vehicles. That's what our generation will be known for; not some gold a boomer kept in a vault
@@EscorpioShadow Nope. Its special. It has value and will always have value mainly because IT IS RARE EARTH, and generally its probably even rare in the universe. Literally Aliens could land on planet earth and they would know that Gold is valuable. Anything that is RARE , hard to come by, or takes serious effort and exploration to find has a value because there is such a limited supply. Plus...It is beautiful, there is no other metal like it. and have you ever held a bar or nugget? Its Weight is deceivingly HEAVY as hell due to a high atomic weight. Yes beautiful, I always enjoy the things he makes, though top hand made jewellery that is carved by hand is the tops, especially some of the ancient gold jewellery that has been found from over 2500 years, just magnificent.
@@Creative_control_digital you still will lose bits of it. Sanding, polishing, cutting designs will all make tiny flakes of gold. Theres a good chance as a newbie you are going to lose all those flakes, im sure this takes days upon days of practice with other metals before you really wanna do it to something as expensive as gold.
That ring is just gorgeous & the inspiration for my current project. I’m making 2 gold bands( it’s our 50th Anniversary) from old gold we had over the years. My question is after texturing, What tool did you use to make diamond cuts.
How much is it for a gold signet ring like the one you made with the diamond cut tool patter and also does using a burr tool on the material make the diamond cut tool pattern easier?
Is there some silicon mould available which could be tailormade as per our own design... in which we could pour molten gold and lo! New jewellery would b ready without any effort or wastage, not to mention making charges.
Every now and again I come accross somebody who is a master of their craft, and it leaves me speechless. This was one of those moments. Amazing 👍🏽
A master can do it without modern tools. He ia just a new age modern ring maker

Most jewelry gets melted
Gold does tarnish due to dirt. Just like Silver it needs to be restored for its ultimate shine.
