I seriously don't get why people find this music unappealing. I actually think it sounds great and, most importantly, fits very very well with the theme.

I adored this dance. Charlestons have always been my favourite and I love Harley and Joker. Especially at 0:15, when Louise looked at Kevin, her facial expression was similar to Harley's. I'd give this a definite 9

Love the concept as I love Suicide Squad and I love both the Joker and Harley Quinn (from the comics and TAS etc.) but the dance was a bit safe for me, could have done a lot more with it. The energy was great but you could have gone all out, if you're choosing characters like that you gotta be a bit more crazy.

At first I was unsure seeing this but then I actually really dig it, it's just showing Harley and Joker in their more comedic clown style and excluding all the sinister stuff. I love it! Really silly clowning around!

I found it a bit too safe, but I had to re-watch it since there was character but still felt too calculated. Maybe it's the idea of the theme of the Joker, and yet not really going all out and smashing it. Easily a 9 regardless.

I have absolutely no idea what people are complaining about! Sure, it wasn't the best charleston ever, but it wasn't bad at all! Yes, the band wasn't necessarily up to scratch, but that shouldn't impair the judgement of the dance! She was in well in time throughout, and showed rather good characterisation! I for one, was very entertained by their dance, and would personally give it a 9!

This is one of my three favorite numbers by Louise and Kevin. Louise is impossibly cute here and she manages to make a cartoon character sexy. Love her - and Kevin as an extension.

Genuinely think Kevin might be the closest someone has come to physically embodying the Joker (based on his appearance in the comics)
She's a technically good dancer but I still don't feel anything when she dances. With this theme she could really have embraced the crazy, and put loads of character into it. It just felt bland to me.

A bit too slow, I would've gone for a faster song. It was also played too safe. Her face wasn't expressive enough, she should've gone crazy like Kevin did.

Louise is so overmarked she's a decent dancer but not a great one I thought she would be great on this but I just don't get the Louise hype...

It wasn't the best charleston by any means, but it had a great deal there. And I'd agree that she was decent at least. More than decent even! And I for one look forward to seeing her dance every week (mainly becauae I have her in a sweepstake, but shhh!)

Louise is a good dancer yet she plays it safe every single week. Theres little or no characterisation in her dances. She needs to bring out her personality in each dance otherwise i dont think she'll be in much longer (especially once the weaker dancers go)
mschrissi100 Louise has clearly lost her confidence since leaving the music business to start a family and diversify into fashion. Louise is a fantastic performer, just watch some of her old videos on UA-cam and amazing dancer I mean this girl went to the Italia Conti stage school. I know she will get better, this was her best dance to date - confidence is coming back.
Sandra Poku I never said she wasnt a good dancer. Where she went to stage school has no bearing on me enjoying her on SCD (which i do and i want her to do well) but she needs to up her game if she wants to go all the way to the final

This dance could have been redone in the final rather than the cha cha.
Didn't really feel this on first viewing. Can see it's up to her usual good standard. Doesn't help that I don't really like the arrangement of the song.

As a hardcore jarley fan this was off. The characterisation wasn't there; they would not do a Charleston they would probably do a tango. The costumes were awful and made me cringe. Did not like this at all. They didn't even get the pig tails right. Not impressed at all. Also, what was the music? Way to ruin something that could have been amazing.
I love this it’s very classic Charleston in the content itself. Yes it’s good but at points I felt she wasn’t keeping up with Kevin and was kinda looking at his feet to get hers right. To me it’s not a good move to look at your partners feet if you forgot a little because it makes them look more stupid. I thought it was quite messy during the middle and she kinda looked strange. I think the choreography is nice and Kevin looks great but to me a shame that she didn’t keep up. 7
Out of all the possible music, this is what scd choose for charlston?! Seriously this season is a complete torture to watch. So much potential yet its all goes down thanks to music.
I started watching scd last season thanks to jay (then fell in love with almost half of the cast) but this year i dont even know why im watching. Its so sad seeing such a talent goes to waste.
I have to admit though the make up is on point! Kevin is the perfect joker :D
I have been watching Strictly for years and honestly the music is definitely not at the level it has been at. The orchestra has stayed mostly the same and very good, but I'm sorry the live singers? Not the best, and some of the music choices have been very poor so far. I'm crossing my fingers for some better ones though!

The music ruined it for me :( I was so excited to see this...
I remember watching this the first time round and it bothered me then too. It's the lights. They are way to bright and colourful and it pushes the actual dancers into the background. It creates an asault on the eyes and (the music helps in this, I know the singing doesn't have the best reputation but come on) it ruins the dance.
Coming back to this and it seems much better than I remember. The music and singing are still atrocious.
The classic red and black Harley Quinn outfit would’ve looked better and more people would’ve understood the concept
I really have to give Kevin an 'L' for really not pushing Louise to her full potential. I feel Kevin's choreography is always choreo designed to *look* spectacular rather than just being spectacular (e.g. Oti). I feel like Pascha or Alijaz would've done a better job with Louise tbh.
