Great video. Never know when you will need emergency heat in your home. Another interesting and effective type of heat you can actually use to cook with while heating spaces is a rocket stove. I'd love to see you do a video on that!

    I love your videos.
Last winter I made a couple of your heaters for my greenhouse.
They worked.well. Thanks for all the helpful videos.

Loved it. I've been wanting to make a heater in this style. I think this is the one to make. Thanks for all the helpful things you share. Happy Thanksgiving.

How do you stop the flame? Thanks. BTW, they do sell one of those fans with 3 fans in one that go in 3 different directions.

There are other heaters that used the same wic, with vegetable oil that works very well.

You should also check out Robert Murray-Smith's videos on heaters of this type. He's done a lot of testing of different designs for efficiency, safety, etc.

I love this idea. But, could you create a surface for cooking??

Dollar store sells tall glass prayer candles that might work. They are made with paraffin wax I presume - which further necessitates ventilation.

Cooking fuel for camping, denatured alcohol, is indeed the best to use. No smoke or toxic fumes . Do not burn regular 70 or 91 percent isopropyl alcohol. Nasty and toxic fumes are produced from the byproducts in the alcohol

Have you considered using used cooking oil?

Fan question" , How do you keep the wires in the back of your fan from melting or the plastic on it from melting and destroying the elements.? hagd

Those type of fans are made entirely of metal. The rising heat makes The blades spin. NO electricity needed 👌

@@martinalderman5626 no matter about electricity, there are still wires in the back of this fam..coated in plastic.. -(no electrical wires, but there are still wires of sorts.)

The whole purpose of that fan is to stand on top of something really hot. It is manufactured with that one purpose in mind. Im sure that the imaginary wires you speak about will be just fine 👍

@@martinalderman5626there absolutely are wires on those fans. The two different layered materials in the base of the fan generate a voltage when heated and then drive an electrical dc motor. How do you think the fan runs ? Through magic genius?

Keep waiting for one of these content channels to acknowledge the original inventor/channel their "new" inventions come from. Modifying someone elses work is fine, but acknowledge where the concept comes from.

Great Ideas. I wonder how the heat rises and if it could melt the poly ceiling.

It would melt the polycarbonate panels if they were within a few inches of the top or sides of the aluminum. Best to place in the center of your greenhouse away from anything that could melt. Cheers.

Ten minutes of safety warnings and six minutes of content. Sorry, I had to pass on this one.
