Bought a 18 gun centurion almost 18yrs ago at my local gun shop when I moved into my new home and still have it and love it. If I ever need a bigger safe in the future I'll stick with Liberty.
Just bought Winchester 26 gun for $449 at tractor supply. Fire rating is 1400 degree ferenheit for 45 minutes and 14 gauge steel. Seems close but I love this new safe. Was comparing everything. Also this safe weighs 375 lbs
I like how these safes DO NOT have Bolts on them, I like the steel plate locking mechanism instead. I heading off to Nebraska Furniture Mart tomorrow to take a closer look at it, and take some exterior dimensions.
The Safe Guy BR I wish they would start rating the safes different. Or add an addition rating for ar-15 or something aside from grandpa old 30-30. Anything aside from old hunting rifles or shotguns without attachments, and you’re getting half the rated amount of storage :(
I own one of the 18 gun models, mine has the bolts instead of the plates. The plates are way better, that said there is no way in hell you will fit the amount of guns in these safes as they advertise. Your guns would be beat up and scratched up if you tried. My 18 gun safe might hold 7 guns in there without putting them in danger of getting damaged. Its misleading as hell and it ain't just liberty that does it either. Whatever they tell you pretty much figure cutting that number in half and deduct a gun or two after that depending on what type of guns you have.
@@esvan9662 Maybe depends on the attachments, I could reliably keep 6 in there but not all of them had attachments. My Marlin 1895 is a pretty thin gun and so where my two AK's but then theres the charging handles. If you careful you might get 7 in there but I'd be careful. The AR-s get thick in a hurry with attachments I could only get two of those in there. If your in the market for a safe find the one you think will work and then buy the next size bigger. You'll never regret buying more safe but you'll forever regret getting one thats too small.

Has anyone had issues with Formaldehyde treated rugs in the safe? Can you get it without the rugs?
Is the door removable for moving?

I wish they were still that cheap
I'm looking at the centurion 12 gun how many lbs is it?
275
Website?
Is there a locking bolt on top and bottom of safe door ?
Not on the Centurion
Many have top bolts but I’ve yet to find any brand with bolt on the bottom of the door!!
Is the USA safe worth the added cost over the centurion?
Very much so! More security, more fire, and much better interior. Also it is a bigger safe!

Do these come with interior lighting options ?
bob I’m pretty sure they sell the lighting separately on this model
Yes we can add any of Liberty's Accessories to this safe!

Is there enough space for 7 long guns with attachments?
