Love these videos, but the Ed Sullivan channel is outpacing you on music performances from the 60s and early 70s. I know the Merv archives goes back that far, although some may need to be transferred from their old tape (I think it was UMatic, or something like that).
Not trying to compete with anyone. Our archive is very different than theirs and we’re trying to post a wide variety of items.
@@ReelinInTheYears66 - Yes, but I noticed you haven't posted a pop/rock 60s video in over a year. I believe the great video of the Zodiacs performing "Stay" was the last one. Maybe Merv didn't have that many rock acts in his earlier programs. Do you handle the Mike Douglas Show as well? I used to work with the administrator of those archives many years ago. I have those listings & can provide some recommendations if you do.

@@shyman99 For clarification, my business is posting material for producers & directors making films to find our archive and then license it for use on their films. We purposefully do not monetize anything from our Chanel so whatever ads pop up on the footage the artists or music publishers collect (which I’m happy about). I understand you prefer music of the 60s (as do I) but what I post (and why I post) have nothing to do with pleasing fans as they are not the ones making films which then license my footage. I of course am happy that you or others enjoy what we post, but that honestly is never a factor in my decision of what to share. I’m not in any way annoyed, mad or upset that you asked the question but felt you deserved an honest answer.
