- This is a look inside the only Medieval Armory in the Western Hemisphere. They have an amazing collection of Armor, complete suits of armor and they definitely have a stellar collection of Polearms.
The armory is called Higgins Armory and it is located in Worcester Massachusetts. Visit their website at: www.higgins.org

Sadly, the Museum is closing its doors for the last time Tuesday, December 31st, 2013. Part of the collection has been bought by the Worcester Art Museum, and the building will be marketed to be sold for some sort of development project.

3:14 is it me or does it look like that Italian armor had some German influence when it was created? Normally they are almost completely smooth. Although it could just be a trick of the light.
the arms on the first suit you showed were backwards :P
I swear I saw a heavily armored mannequin with a rapier... That seems like it would be hard to pull off o.O

Basically Britain ruled us, and abused us, and we didn't like that. So some guy said, "Heck, let's be free." So we wrote some papers and whooped the Brit's butts in war, and became our own nation. We grew and grew until the North half and the South half divided into two separate nations over the issue of slavery and secession. We fought awhile until the North won and demanded their terms to the South. This weakened the nation as a whole but after that we rebuilt. That's pretty much it. :)
