SONG OF THE CENTURY
Not crazy at all dude. I have been saying this since 2018 when I discovered them randomly and they very quickly became my number one favorite band. Shit got me emotional I’m not even going to lie about it. I shed tears. These guys are so next level it’s not even funny. Niklas is a genius and the band are gods. I absolutely fuckin love Orbit Culture.
They are just perfect man, couldn't have been happier
Almost made me freaking cry🤘🏼🔥🤘🏼🔥🤘🏼🔥
It's truly a work of art!
@@Jaimunji LIVE.....they will change your life. Live they sound just as good as studio if not a little better. Plus the most humble dudes, they hang out and talk with fans, Absolut a bucket list to see them!
Orbit culture riffs always get the stank face going
“If LOTR was a metal band, it would be Orbit Culture” is fucking perfect haha. They’ve been my favorite band the past couple of years since I discovered them for a reason.
They pulled out all their big guns on this one. Niklas had all his vocal ranges on display, Fredrik was NASTY on the bass, Richard had an awesome solo and of course Chris went absolutely nuts on the double bass after that clean vocal bridge. This album is going to be a masterpiece and I really hope it propels them into the Metal community.
They absolutely have everything going for them, I reckon this album will push them to new heights.
Any metal head would say ur fuckin crazy and haven't listened to any metal. Legion of the Damned's lead LITERALLY SOUNDS LIKE GOLLUM. The title of Gargoyle/LOTR death thrash belongs to them alone. "Malevolent Rapture" especially sounds like Gollum screaming. I luv OC, but their cleans are a bit generic and boring.
I’ve never heard of this band, and to be honest, if you hadn’t titled it Best Song of 2023, I would have skipped this reaction. But that description intrigued me so I gave it a shot. WOW…so good…new fan here!
Welcome to your new addiction
Glad you checked them out, this was one of the bands that when I first started my channel people kept asking me to check them out and I'm glad I did.
Hell yeah! Beautiful, just beautiful to me.
It's got my vote for song of the year...damn!
The entire middle section of this song, from the low cleans to the high scream and second chorus, are a work of art and this song is an actual masterpiece in the genre.
Couldn't agree more mate! Truly something special
Ive seen them twice in the last year. They opened for In Flames the first time, and Avatar the second. Outstanding each time. Theyre also super approachable and talk with fans and stuff after their set. Super nice guys. Amazing musicians.
Had the privilegecto be on their first American show with in Flames. Came out as the small opening band. Played only 5 songs I think. Sad. One of my fav bands ever. Cheers from Honduras amigo!
Holy cow, what a track! Unbelievable, epic!
Drums on this song? Fucking hell... Damn, I´m so proud we swedes release music like this🤘
I have goosebumps all over my body!!!!
Same!
Niklas' scream at @06:01 and all thats happening around it music eise (horns, keyboards, whatever) is just so fucking...beautiful? Apocalyptic? Epic? Dramatic? I dont know what the proper term is but its the same feeling I get during the second half of The Shadowing where the orchestral sounds come it. Its just fucking amazing and ill admit it, fucking brings tears of joy to my eyes!
I think everything you said sums it up perfectly
I love your reaction! It is exaktly how I feels about it 🤘❤️
Niklas’ vocals are insane! I screamed when he did his triple scream in the middle! Love OC!!!
And yes of course, that's a big contester for Song of the Year.... 😎😍🤘🖤🕺
"This is fucking the future of metal music, man."
It fucking better be. lolol
It's a perfect reaction, because i feel your Love and Passion for OC which i share too. And yeah, they're a band of the future of Metal, and i'm all here for that...😎🤘🖤🖤🖤⚡
I'm glad I've got you all here showing all your passion and love for the band, they are one of a kind.
@@Jaimunji Swedens best Ambassandors 😎🤘🇸🇪
Saw the thumbnail for this, instantly got chills and adrenaline spiked a lil bit, let's bring it boys
This track is straight up amazing. Gonna be jamming this track til the new album drops next month. Hurry the hell up July... End! Great reaction btw. With ya 100%
The album is going to be amazing! I agree can we just skip July.
Hell yeah did know either. They been playing a new song live but I don’t think it’s this one
I think the song they have been playing live was Alienated
@@Jaimunji that’s it. That sounds good as well but the recordings are not the greatest
MY TAKE:
Orbit Culture is the incarnation of NEXT LEVEL MUSICIANSHIP.
I hail from 1969 and as a musician, guitar player I have seen decades of changes and thousands of new bands and genre after genre evolve into present day.
Orbit Culture has a formula that is beautifully complex, percussive, theatrical, HUGE story telling as if every single track was created for a movie soundtrack. The vocals would make James Hetfield grin for sure! The power behind the vocals is different in that, they are inflective and not mush, they are skull crushing and tear through the universe and yet heart warming. Brilliant!
The guitars are rad af, percussive, creative, staccato, melodic and meaningful. Not a note too much or too less. Perfect!
Bass is HUGE and it’s such a pleasure to ‘feel’ the bass driving through the tunes and at time the bass is incredibly amplified which again, is a delight!
The drums. The drums… there is a beautiful balance of driving beats that keep the listener movin’ and the added intricacies of speed and triplets are incredible. There is a huge level of creativity here! LOVE IT!
The production is incredible. Absolutely brilliant and enormous. Nothing was left on the table and it clearly shows in each track. UNREAL!
Overall, I feel Orbit Culture is my new favorite band of ALL genres.
I encourage everyone to listen to Orbit Culture’s Next Level Melodic Death Metal as it is pure life for many a listener.
#1
Dude! This is the perfect description!
Of course it's coming back, it's Orbit Culture. It's not "if" it's coming back, it's "how". Woooooo! great reaction.
Thank you!
Oww man! .. yea your passion for this style of metal got me hit and subscribe for your channel.
And yes you have to see them live, its damn amazing. I didnt know about Orbit Culture untill they opened up for Meshugga back in april 1st.
So yea if you have a chance, dont doubt just go and see them.

Saw them in Phoenix. They were awesome!!
Couldn't have said it better, their music sounds like a score of a movie. I mean, listen to the shadowing and tell me you don't think of Interstellar ? Fucking epic. They build these walls of sound that feel like a wave washing over you. This next album will be a serious contender for album of the year, for sure.
This song is so fucking good! I start to cry when hearing it! These guys are amazing!
Thanks for the great reaction! I just heard these guys for the first time about 2 weeks ago, I can’t believe I haven’t heard them before. Seriously impressed with these guys, i haven’t heard a song I haven’t liked yet!
Thank you for watching! Orbit Culture are something special!
Excellent reaction! Put a big smile on my face - because this was like a mirror of my own reaction. This song is awesome! And FINALLY a guitarsolo (though it could have been at least twice as long) Yeah I'm the old fart that want a guitarsolos in songs since that makes them 10 times better... LOL
Looking forward to the new album! August 18th... Cheers from Sweden mate! \m/
Cheers mate! I agree I did enjoy the little guitar solo and who knows we might get a few on this album!
Perfeitamente!✌
Great reaction, and indeed a great song. See them live - you WILL NOT regret it.
Incredible track, and great react. These guys are metal gods!
Cheers mate!
These guys are fucking AMAZING, l totally agree with you, man😃🤘(and you are awesome as well 👍💪) and yes, I do to think that it is just a matter of time before things "blow up" for these breathtaking guys. In the best possible way🤘🤘🤘❤️
Thank you so much! And yes I definitely believe they are just about to blow up and I'm excited for them.
Discovered these guys a few years ago. Absolutely love em. My first reaction was "these guys are what Metallica would be if Metallica still made good music"
But since then they've really come into their own, finding a unique and savage sound. Shaman was a monstrous EP, and this new album looks set to continue on that same journey.
I was feeling pretty down about the metal releases coming out this year, or lack thereof, and then this came along and turned that around
You're spot on with everything you have said & I truly feel this album will be special.
Kinda makes me proud of my DNA🇸🇪 MORE METAL TO THE WORLD!🤟
Just coming across this video and have to comment.
Saw these guys open for Trivium and from the get go they were amazing, I rarely love support bands on first listen no matter how good they are but these guys somehow hooked me right in.
This is definitely my favourite song from 2023 and one of my new favourite bands.
Watch them blow up like a fucking tactical nuke once this album drops
Fuck yeah!
We appreciate and share the love for metal music even if its not our favourite song. We are an unique family and only us can understand what is to be a metal head
Yo bro! This is the best reaction i watch. 100% agre with tour thoughts. Greets from Poland!
Thank you so much mate! I really appreciate it.
Well I am just glad I have lived to this moment..
Love this reaction, just genuine love for the music 🤘
Thank you heaps! The song just really got me.
Music you'll probably love (as per your LOTR comment) as well:
- Fear My Thoughts - the whole Vulcanus album but try "Survival Scars"
- Sybreed - "Dynamic"
- Soulfly - "Touching The Void"
The first 2 bands are no longer together but they deserve to still have their epic music spread out into the world
Man sucks Sybreed aren't together I really enjoyed that!
One of the best "new" bands from the last decades. Every song of them is just insane! They also manage to trigger all sorts of feelings and that is what good music should do! I cried tears of joy and also sadness when that epic clean singing ended and he screams in pain and everything is just tooooooooooo epic to handle xD.
It's absolutely brilliant
that outro, man...oh man.
It's a masterpiece
👊🏼🔥
🙋♂️👌👍👍🎸🎸🖤🖤

What a great couple of days for music. New releases by both Feuerschwanz and Orbit Culture, not to mention that crazy LotL video? Yes. please! Not sure if this will be my song of the year just yet since there is a long way to go, but it's definitely gonna be a contender. And I completely agree with you that OC should be the "next big thing" in metal. The other bands you mentioned aren't even close in my opinion.
LotL mentions always get a thumbs up from me!
It's definitely been a busy few days for me but I'm not complaining I absolutely loved all the music.
They have a new EP out with three new songs and it's a banger of an EP. Better than descent if you ask me. Check it out! 🤘
you sound like re4 remake merchant lol
My brother said the same thing lol
Im not picking a fight but you are wrong. Orbit Cultural has several GREAT songs.
Song of the year? Carnifex has a new song that is alot better than this , this song is average at best but as a band orbit culture are amazing
Necromanteum? The video is pure garbage but the song itself is pretty damn good. OC is just on a completely different level altogether.
