This definitely gets the James Marshall Hendrix seal of approval.
That’s Ava Llew on the guitar. She has her own channel and rocks away to all kinds of good songs!
Mia really nailed it with passion, and a great voice! The band nailed it as well. It was very captivating to see and hear.
Sounds horrible 🎤 ouch!
Wow! The instruments were just perfect! Hard to cover Jimi vocally, but the young lady was spot on!
Drums are fantastic
When you take on a legendary song like this you better be good. You all were👍
These young people are proving there's hope for music yet. God these people are great!

What a voice!
Always a treat to see Kobe on that bass!!! ❤️❤️❤️
One of the few male bassists who’s as obviously grooving as are girl bassists, and he makes that thing smoke.
Great cover, kids. I love to watch Kobe play his bass and I love to watch Mia emote while she sings!!!
Technically great. Surely one of the best cover I've ever heard.
Love the kid on bass! Really into it
Kobe! Best bassist ever.
You young people can rock
The drummer's fills were pretty awesome. He changed it up a little from the original, but I thought it was a nice personal touch on a classic.
Purple Haze was always THE song for me going waaay back... I'm a 57 yr old guitarist born and raised in Memphis and started playing at age 7 and was originally taught by my father before going to Howard Vance Guitar Academy, where my father was on of Howard's very first students. This seems like a very cool place and unlike anything we had in back in my day here when it was just one on one lessons and jamming with friends. Back in my freshmen year of High School I almost got to go to Berklee in Boston for one of the summer sessions but my Mom rock-blocked that maneuver. That would have been an experience very similar to this place and I probably would have went on to go there every year until College there, I was hoping. On the bright side I did get my BA in Music at Memphis State University as well as a computer programming degree and was a code slinger for 30 stressful years. While I hope I never see another line of code again I will never stop playing guitar. It's in my blood! Keep On Rockin y'all...
Awesome. I love how the vocalist is so into it she barely open her eyes xD
Ava Llew 🎶👏👏👏👏👏🎶

Luke buddy.... Mitch Mitchell is smiling, you caught the very feel of his drumming.

Love the drumming!!! I was a junior in high school when this came out. Loved it then, and I thank you for revisiting this classic song.

You kiddos are so talented. Amazing.
Excellent work everyone. It's nice to see such a great cover of this classic.
Love school of rock
That was a thoroughly enjoyable, excellent version of an iconic song. Taking on Jimi is a huge challenge, and maybe even a huge risk. You guys did a great job with it, carried us through the song, and stuck it.
Wow!!!! Hope to also hear a cover of "Foxy Lady" and "All Along the Watchtower" from these talented kids.
Another way of keeping the classics alive
Mia was in a zone. Loved this.

"Respect the classics, man! It's Hendrix!" - Fillmore (Pixar's Cars)
Great rendition by the way.
Passionate!
Rocked it!❤
Absolutely brilliant!
Uh.. wow! Just awesome! Jimi's looking down. Smiling and clapping. Glad ya didn't use the lighter fluid. ; )
Nailed it❤
Hot Damn! Bravo Zulu to all! Super tight!
Nice
LSD is what that song is about. Thanks Jimi for that one, I had a great trip in 1968 in Ville Émard, Montréal. RIP Sir.
Although"Purple Haze" is often associated with acid culture, Jimi Hendrix biographer Charles R. Cross explained that the song's basis wasn't drug-related. "Though the tune would forever be linked in the popular imagination with LSD, Jimi said it was inspired by a dream he had that mirrored the novel Night of Light: Day of Dreams, by Philip José Farmer." There has been some talk over the years about an often misunderstod line from the song, in which Hendrix sings, "Excuse me while I kiss the sky." When Frank Zappa's band covered the tune in 1988, they went with "Excuse me while I kiss this guy."
@@Scientificmethods It maybe right. Remember John Lennon saying the same thing about Lucy In the Sky with Diamonds. Maybe we should ask the Moody Blues if Legend of a mind is about LSD.
Sensacional....!!
The bassist 🤣🤣 I love him
awww thanks
How old are these kids doing this? So young with so much talent so encouraging to see, great cover!
13 to 18!
AWESOME!!! I ENJOYED YOUR PERFORMANCE
Bassist brought the groove!
Beautiful
Straight fire
Let me stand next to your fire 🔥
Luke on the drums?! W
Besides the amazing talent of all the kids I've been watching, can I just say thank you to the School of Rock for teaching singers to enunciate. I just spent an hour and a half in the dentist's chair. It was kinda uncomfortable, a little painful at times. But staring up at a speaker and being forced to listen to a series of mush-mouthed pop stars mumble and slur their way through shallow lyrics was pure torture.
I could still swear she said, "Excuse me while I kiss this guy" LOL
You're cool!
Well done
Purple Haze, brought to you by purple hair! Works for me!
Excellent ❤
I’m in a school of rock Black Sabbath band, and we could never do half as good as that!
drummer gives some Jimmy Chamberlin vibes, really cool
"Scuze me while I kiss the sky" ! ~
Drums, Bass, Vocals -- A, black shirt, B, skirt, B. Practice enough so you can have *fun*.
Jimi is smiling now in Heaven...
♥ * SHIVERS * ♥
These kids do Jimi proud. But remind them he did it with one guitar.
очень круто!
don't get me wrong , the girls do fantastic versions of whatever they tackle but I'm guessing they are short on male vocalists for these videos because they are few and far between.
Great performance - if they could just do a jump in the air at the end, would have been epic!
Not bad for a bunch of young kids whose parents weren't even born yet when the song came out.
Good thing my parents were like 20 at the time haha.
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
