@@kysonftw Yeah they say that but she was four why would she be taking those kinds of risks? Either way she's better off singing and her music will be used in floor routines all over the world. Like many Eastern Europeans, she's very accomplished. They're much better at identifying talented children than we are (no they don't kidnap them they have "pioneer groups" designed to catch prodigies).
@@kysonftw I'm guessing she didn't like the politics of the gymnastics world plus she's way more talented at singing. I know as a chess coach she reminds me of Bobby Fischer chess is actually a form of music it's the same pattern-recognition skills she could easily become a female champion and she performed at the world team championships I bet other chess coaches from there have seen the same thing if she ever gets bored later in life it's a good way to kill time (all I do now that I'm 53 and half-dead I'll be lucky to live another 15 years).
Beth, I'm from across the pond and what a pleasure it was not only to discover Daneliya but to find your review and comments about her performances. You seemed genuinely startled when you recognized her talent within 5 seconds. She is definitely special. Someone to keep an eye on as she grows and our hope is that the magic she possesses to connect emotionally to all of us never leaves her. Isn't it amazing that neither of us understand a word of the Ukrainian language yet we were brought to tears by her performance in the finals.
She is an amazing singer. She gives me chills when she sings in English or her native language. Daneliya van move you to tears. I’m so happy to have discovered her channel. You should listen to Mama and the lyrics, just beautiful. ❤️
Dear Beth, thank you for taking all that time to the voice of Daneliya. Usually, coaches are taking only one song from the overall performance. But you did it all the way up. Bravo!
The last song is about children criticizing adults about war and what they are doing to the planet. That is a pretty simplified explanation of the meaning. The passion and emotion she projects are just breathtaking! I have seen an English version of the lyrics but can't find it right now, when I do I will forward it to you.
@@BethRoars We weren't asking for a reaction to Florence & the Machine. Did you even read the comment? We were asking for a reaction to Daneliya doing Spectrum BY Florence & the Machine.
I be the patreon that recommended this. I thought she was the best young vocalist I have ever seen. So calm and confident in her performance along with her vocal capability. Your reaction Beth to her was exactly what I had hoped. Also you can click the "CC" below her videos and see the translation to what they are saying. She was actually very nervous in in the first video you saw her in. She says she gets nervous every time she goes out on stage. But you would never know it.
The last song is called "This is not your war", with words kind of like "stop it, you don't have to do it, how many more should die till it stops", and her at the end saying "I have a dream that there's peace, and people just live and let live others" something like this, I don't understand much of it. That's why everyone is crying, it is such a heartfelt subject in Ukraine now, and her coach is crying most of them, he is so proud of her. Thank you for a beautiful and informative video. Also amazing that she came for the competition not knowing much of their language I guess, and now she sings flawlessly in it. All the best to her.
Well said Beth. Daneliya is a rare gem and a national treasure for her country. I am from the Philippines and even when she sings in the languages I don't understand somehow the way she controls her voice and feelings make me experience what she feels singing these songs that is just unnatural for me. My kind of music are typically rock ballads and sometimes also upbeat pop tunes but many of the songs she sings if I heard it from other singers chances are they wouldn't make me blink Yet Daneliya's voice and deeply intense emotional load put into her notes permeates into my very bones and comes as a shock. Some of these covers she does brings me to tears every time I watch her do them as if I was hearing the performance all over again for the first time. Finding her in you tube seems to have locked my searches into her direction every time and I am not complaining. She is a blessing to our senses.
Her french accent is excellent.... and now at 12 years old u barely hear that she comes from a non english speaking country anymore. Watch her covers "Warrior" (Demi Lovato), "Love on the brain" (Rihanna) and "Everyday is Christmas" (SIA) and u quickly understand how fast shes developing. She is by my means or standard a fully grown adult singer/artist at the age of 12. She is on the CBS show "The World's Best" now in america but thats pre-recorded last october and the leaps shes taken even since then is just amazing. I was hoping Disney would pick her up but she already sounds like an adult so i hope some Music Labels signs her, they would be foolish not too. The fact that she had only been singing for about a year before this contest here and already used that many techniques as Beth put it says alot of Daneliya! too bad u missed the spectrum song on this show which i think was her best actually.

I loved your reaction. Especially because you reacted to one of her best performances "Not your war" (last song). She has a really mature and beautiful voice at her young age but that's not what made that performance so powerful, it was her ability to convey emotions through her singing. I hope you would react to some other songs of her like "Spectrum", "Everyday is Christmas", "Love on the Brain" and "Trymay".
Thank you for a fantastic reaction. It was not just an emotional reaction to her amazing vocal talent but it was insightful as well. Her vocal coach is pretty amazing and she has actually talked about some of the points you brought up. Its nice to see a summary that includes the future of her voice and how it may be affected by her present actions.
The last song is a well know song by the Ocean Elza Ukrainian rock group. It's an anti-war song, a very difficult to perform. Super emotional as Ukraine is in war now. You could see men were crying. It's called "It's not your war". What she was saying at the end how she dreams to live in peace, where men don't fight.
I see that you have reacted to Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas, you might want to check out Daneliya's live cover of this song! Not only does she do it justice but kills it! In my humble opinion this is Daneliya at her best!
I agree with you, Daneliya in that song is perfect. There's another song that did amazingly. Even if the video and the audio is not good, because it is taken from a mobile phone. ua-cam.com/video/oUx0n7j-wGw/v-deo.html
She got to you with the last performance, i was sitting with my mouth open, didn´t know her at all. With only 10 years old, this kind of talent.... mindblowing
10 years old, far from home, singing in a different language (ukrainian) than her native kazakh (she also sings in Kazakh, Russian, English and French) ... All I can do is thank the Universe for bringing her here with us during my lifetime. Sheer Beauty (I'm talking about her as an artist), might it be a painting , a book or a movie, can truly touch you down to the core. And the most amazing is that she is very humble and getting better all the time (listen to her "Shallow" or "I just kissed a girl" covers). Encore merci et continue à nous faire rêver petite princesse !
Ms Roars, I stumbled upon this video via UA-cam's autoplay. I already knew Daneliya from The World's Best but I thought this video would build up to all her songs at The Voice Ukraine where in the grand final Daneliya sang Spectrum (Florence and the Machine). So when this video ended without Spectrum I was slightly disappointed because IMO Spectrum was the culmination of her performance and we all know how mightily and soulfully intense Florence Welch is and it was astonishing how Daneliya not only matched Florence's intensity but took it up a notch when she was only 10 years old. That song with the other two girls Rhythm of the Night did not deserve to take the spot of Spectrum because your jaw will just drop if you listen to her take on Spectrum. It is more than just tone and ability to attach emotions to the lyrics......it is also about presence and soul.....she is an old highly evolved soul and she just project her inner self in the song. The tone is just the skin that packages her inner self which some parts she release when she sings. The glorious lyrics to the chorus of Spectrum came alive when she sang the words: "Say my name and every colour illuminates. We are shining and we will never be afraid again". She did not just sing those grand words SHE PROCLAIMED THEM. An old soul in the body of a 10 year old commanded to say her name and every colour illuminates when you do as you're told. Do yourself a favour and watch that performance....it is potentially life changing. It is not simply a song....it is a religious chant or mantra! She didn't even try. She just became as she was truly shining and then won the contest. Thumbs up to the coach who selected that song for her.
I really like your reaction for Daneliya, I also found all three of those songs to be brilliantly song and I do love her voice I have since the first song I’ve ever heard from her.She is clearly a golden child
Beth, I recently watched you react to Angelina Jordan and I enjoyed your reaction very much. But, I am visiting this video again (I have many, many times before) because I think this could be your best reaction to a performance by Daneliya. Her performance in the finals was something I will cherish forever. Like you said in the video, it was perfect! I did a little research on it. Her coach attempted to talk her out of doing it (he gave the choice to pick a song for the finals). She said please and he asked her to sing it a little so he could hear her sing. In a word, he said he was "flabbergasted" and the rest is history. Her stage presence, vocal ability, emotional input made this recording one I will never forget. (She was only 10!) I'm following her and she seems to be coming along very well and is very regarded internationally. I really have my hands full. Between Daneliya and Angelina and throw in Dimash, wow! Beth, I hope you are well. Please exercise care in these crazy times.
Daneliya to me is probably the best young singer on the planet in terms of projecting the emotions and meanings of the lyrics in the songs she covers or her originals. Plus she is a very pretty, is a good dancer, good acting ability and is so humble.
This little one has the ability to grab hold of a song find the emotional center and then send it straight to the very center of our being. I don't know how many times I've seen performance, but with watching these reaction videos and watching on my own with nobody talking over and around the singing, I have viewed it 30-40 times in 6 months. She has yet to not make me cry. It is the combination of her age, her ability and her other worldly ability to make you, the listener, feel exactly how and why the song intended for you to feel when the songwriter wrote it. One reactor calls it 'emotional transport', I call it kickin' the crap out of you. Holding you down and stuffing you with all the ' juice' , or the marrow of the song. Then leaves you lying there with your heart exposed and tears flowing out of your eyes. Yeah, that's about right. And, she keeps getting better.
Beth, I have watched everything I can find on Daneliya, which has been amazing. From what she has said in interviews she has only been professionally singing since 10 years old so now she is 12. She is now on the Worlds Best here in America. She performed those songs "Stone Cold" and "Rise Up" and you can tell she has made great improvements in her vocal range and ability. I can't wait to hear her 5 to 10 years from now. WOW! During her interviews she acts her age (12), but as soon as she goes on stage to sing, its like she flips a switch and she sings like an adult. And I agree she is able to convey emotion to her listeners, which will make her a very powerful singer.
12:05 you look like I felt when I watched her do that song on The World's Best. It does feel like she's had unexplainable life experience. I look forward to watching as her voice and emotions mature (even more), she's going to be a power diva to reckon with!
Beth, I believe that there are certain people that are just born to perform at an extremely high level be it singing, composing, sports, math, science etc.! Call them prodigies if you will and Daneliya is one of them, I put Angelina Jordan and Alma Deutscher in this category as well as Jackie Evancho although she is older she broke out at an early age. They are all unique and diverse as well. They are the future of music and I for one am happy to see them growing !
Beth, Daneliya has an incredible voice for such a young age. I was overjoyed to see her win The Voice Kids. If you liked Daneliya , check out The Voice Kids Mimi and Joshfin . They sing a song called Creep. Beautiful harmony for such young girls. Thank you for your post. I truly enjoyed watching Daneliya . She is so cute and adorable. :-)
I have followed Daneliya for the last 20 months, she is really special. I think she is getting better with every performance, you can tell that she is working very hard to always improve. I have watched all the videos I can find, which number quite a few she is very consistent, I don't think she did quiet as well during Junior Eurovision. I know she feels a lot of pressure to succeed in the World's Best contest, she broke down during the battle vote and at the end of the interview about the contest in her country. I think that her family is working very hard to assist her career and she does not want to let them down. She is very mature, so poised in interviews for her age. She was attending a Swiss / American boarding school away from her family. As you can tell I am a fan.
Beth, it has been 18 months since you reacted to Daneliya's performance on the Voice Kids Ukraine. Daneliya has grown up and this year she performed on America's Got Talent 2020. I, along with most of Daneleliya's fans would love to see your reactions to her five performances of AGT.
even if you don't understand the lyrics you can tell the last song is obviously very serious just by how much emotion she conveys through her singing. From what I understand the song is a plea from children to adults not to leave a legacy of war and fear behind for children to inherit.
Yes!! and it (Може, вже досить) was written by Monatik, her coach in this show. She took it to heart then splayed it wide open for the world to hear so beautifully with her incredible voice and talent. Thus the tears from him and me and many others.
You are a good teacher Beth. You understand all the techniques Daneliya uses. Some people who do reactions don't understand. Thanks for pointing out things.
19May19 Hi! Lyrics tradution for the last song Not your war Fight in the morning, the sun and the smoke. What would happened to him, not many know. What will be tomorrow in the mind of youth- In someone is hope, and in someone is fear.
The branches of guelder rose bend under weight . Mum, to whom did we prayed? It will take how many more Of your children, not your war?
Became parents daughters and sons, They saw only colourful dreams. And kissed the hands of lie, Gave away the days for the quiet nights.
The branches of guelder rose bend under weight . Mum, to whom did we prayed? It will take how many more Of your children, not your war?
It was good there once. There, where there are no sweat, nor tears. Just there were no sense in that- I can not do this, but how can you?
The branches of guelder rose bend under weight . Mum, to whom did we prayed? It will take how many more Of your children, not your war?
She sang so many songs since than that she relaxed a bit and made it her own. If she listened to original singer than sang it she'd been better than original. But she put her own spin on it.
I agree with @Danijela. And like beth said, pressure and situation make it slightly impose her voice. U should listen her singing All Christmas. Perfect 10/10.. ua-cam.com/video/xosWO7I4tiE/v-deo.html
What I blurted out the instant she began singing would not be PG-13, because whoa, what a shock! I had to listen to the original, because I was certain she sounded _exactly_ alike, and she _is_ . I'm absolutely flabberghasted. About the only thing I could say is, you can hear _hints_ that her voice hasn't matured fully yet in the (belting?) segment after she goes full headvoice compared to the original. But still. Wow. Wow, wow, wow. Edit: ok, that was for the "stone cold", but it's equally valid for rise up, I'd have problems distinguishing between the two if I didn't know who it was. She's almost like a tiny morrissette!
Wish it were in my state, would love to actually see you sing. You will be a legend and I can say I was there. Best to you Daneliya and safe travels to the state

Daneliya was 10 at the time of this performance. There is a version of this video with English CC, those words she says just before she starts are "God help me".
She's 17 now. Comment is a bit late but if you look at her older videos, she's been belting at the top of her lungs since age 9 and at a wonderful tone, not overdone, emotional, very loud, and perfect. Daneliya is a one of a kind phenom. I think she is the best child singer ever and underrated or underexposed at that.
She was at AGT last year and has made extraordinary progress since The Voice, it would be awsome a new video in your channel about her first appearance at AGT, singing Tears of Gold.
Angelina Jordan and Daneliya Tuleshova are definitely the most talented today, they already have another level, they have their own voice, their own, particular, and a great pleasure to hear them, they are simply wonderful, wonderful ... They are predestined to become two great stars of the future ... I sincerely wish them that the talents are not so wasted, they deserve to sing on the greatest scenes all over the world, for an enormous pleasure of all of us.
I followed Jackie Evancho through most of her career so far, since she is still just 18, and one of her favorite and fan favorites of hers was Nessun Dorma, but she stopped singing it at about 12 years old, then started back up0 again at about 16.. She took care of her voice during that period. I hope this girl will as well. I have seen so many who get on these talent shows, and scream all the time and ruin themselves. Charice did that. Her voice is not as good as it used to be because she had to show off and scream out those high notes when she should have held back for a few years.
Daneliya is one of my favorite young singers & her voice is just beautiful. I hope you will react to my absolute favorite singer of all time & that is 13-year old Angelina Jordan. She won Norway's Got Talent at 8 singing 4 jazz songs. In the 5 years since then she has covered over 100 songs (3 originals) on UA-cam from all genre except rap & opera. She has the most versatile voice I have ever heard & she can sing anything, but jazz is her favorite genre. She released her first album called "It's Magic" last year & it is amazing. My favorite is her cover of Adele's "A Million Years Ago." Please check her out, you will be amazed.

I've heard this audition so many times and it still gives me chills
When the Coach start crying i cry too...he let us see what he feels when she is singing.... She is so perfect and it seems like that she really love the songs and feel them
Actually she is a dancer, because of her injury she can't dance anymore and start learning to sing
and here she is now a great performer
Injury?
@@raygordonteacheschess5501 yeah when she was young she had an injury that prevented her from continuting
@@raygordonteacheschess5501 not sure, it was likely just a freak accident
Bravo!
Daneliya is my FAVORITE !
I'm from Poland and I understand a little when she is singing in the last song about war and it's so full of emotions I almost cry.
The last song is about children criticizing adults about war and what they are doing to the planet. That is a pretty simplified explanation of the meaning. The passion and emotion she projects are just breathtaking! I have seen an English version of the lyrics but can't find it right now, when I do I will forward it to you.
Awww you didn't get to see her best performance on The Voice Kids. She did Spectrum from Florence & the Machine. You need to watch it.

@@Amm1ttai ok calm down
I be the patreon that recommended this.
Love from Azerbaijan. It's very beautifull voice! She'll be a superstar. I belive it!
Bravo Beth. Spectrum may have been her best performance on Voice Kids Ukraine. And she has improved in The World's Best competition 2 weeks ago.
This a Great review of Daneliya!!!! Thank You!!!! I find her incredible as well and can't stop listening to her videos.
Daneliya is amazing!! ❤
Did she sing in french somewhere? What song?

She is amazing! I have spent hours watching video, shes incredible
I have watched her audition video many times. Daneliya is amazing! I would say she is the best I've ever heard.
Daneliya is an amazing singer with a great control of voice. I like it as well as your great reaction to her, Beth., and thanks.
This young lady is incredibly talented. The way she puts all her emotions into interpreting a song is way beyond her years. Very special talent.
I love her and her hands gestures. She can not only sing but act. She needs to be in movies too!
She got to you with the last performance, i was sitting with my mouth open, didn´t know her at all. With only 10 years old, this kind of talent.... mindblowing
Daneliya has a special stunning voice you can only be born with a voice like hers you need to watch more of her videos she is even better 💖
Daneliya is on another level 🔥❤️💫
This girl is super talented 🔥 l love her so much 🌬
Thank you for beautiful reaction and your professional approach
She's just so amazing, isn't she?!
She’s on AGT now. You should see her audition. Too Good
Ms Roars, I stumbled upon this video via UA-cam's autoplay. The glorious lyrics to the chorus of Spectrum came alive when she sang the words:
"Say my name and every colour illuminates.
Hey! Here is my reaction to Florence: ua-cam.com/video/uUMHKQp2Suk/v-deo.html
I really like your reaction for Daneliya, I also found all three of those songs to be brilliantly song and I do love her voice I have since the first song I’ve ever heard from her.She is clearly a golden child
Great reaction and analysis. Please make a reaction to her "Love on the brain", "Warrior", "Spectrum" performances.
She is 10 years old, started singing around 5 years old, there are video's out there. She won the Voice Kids that year. She phenomenal.
Thanks for the great reaction! She is A M A Z I N G! Vote her at the AGT final stage!
Time stopped while watching your reaction! Literally, the clock hands right behind you never moved. :-)
Lol
Thank you for reaction

I get goose bumps every time I hear her sing. Loved your reaction to her talent.
even if you don't understand the lyrics you can tell the last song is obviously very serious just by how much emotion she conveys through her singing.
Yes, you get it right, the idea of the song is exactly about that.
You are a good teacher Beth. You understand all the techniques Daneliya uses. Some people who do reactions don't understand. Thanks for pointing out things.

Where on earth are you getting info that they are going head to head next week??? It's the third round of the battles and does not include either Daneliya or that other person from Kazakhstan???? Congrats! You just reduced the validity of your reactions by about 100%
@@jdg48439 Sorry... it must be the week after next. There are 3 competing for a spot to the next round... Dimash, Daneliya and the little boy who plays the piano. They said only one of the three goes through on the preview that they showed at the end of the show. I'm not sure how my making a mistake on the air date would destroy my reaction credibility. I was only wanting to let Beth know they are both performing on the show because she likes them both.
So, if she and Dimash, and the TNT Boys are all competing, how can you vote ? Well Dimash will be disqualified for not being from this planet. They could all lose to a card trick anyway.

Lyrics tradution for the last song
Not your war
Fight in the morning, the sun and the smoke.
What would happened to him, not many know.
What will be tomorrow in the mind of youth-
In someone is hope, and in someone is fear.
The branches of guelder rose bend under weight .
Mum, to whom did we prayed?
It will take how many more
Of your children, not your war?
Became parents daughters and sons,
They saw only colourful dreams.
And kissed the hands of lie,
Gave away the days for the quiet nights.
The branches of guelder rose bend under weight .
Mum, to whom did we prayed?
It will take how many more
Of your children, not your war?
It was good there once.
There, where there are no sweat, nor tears.
Just there were no sense in that-
I can not do this, but how can you?
The branches of guelder rose bend under weight .
Mum, to whom did we prayed?
It will take how many more
Of your children, not your war?
You need to compare that stone cold to the one she did this year, 2 years later. It’s completely different.
Perfect 10/10..

excellent reaction ! hi from france

Aside her amazing voice, she so pretty , and looks like doll
First off I absolutely love your reactions and analysis of all the artists you have broadcast. I now catch myself noticing things that artists do that I never did before lol. If possibly I think you should do Pearl Jam - Black (mtv unplugged). You may be pleasantly surprised :)
