You've got all the time in the world.
In this video I talk a lot about death and the games that I feel do a great job exploring its greater meanings. So many of the games we play have us play the role of executioner without ever thinking twice about it. I just find it really fascinating when games can be more analytical of the emotional impact of death.

As a therapist who has held the hand of many people before they cross over into death, I play an extraordinary amount of games that explore and analyze the concept and impact of death. Except for Red Dead Redemption, I've definitely played almost every game highlighted in this video (some an embarrassing number of times). There is something...peaceful in coming to terms with life so that you may cross over unburdened (or at least try to)
I rarely play games that "murder hundreds" anymore. I prefer to explore life (even through death)
I hardly ever click on videos in a subreddit, but I'm glad I clicked on this one.
What you do cannot be easy and it definitely takes a special person to be able to help someone through their final moments like that. Genuinely thank you for what you do.
I really do appreciate that you liked the video and I'm glad we're on the same page. It's refreshing when games take a step back and allow us to look more inward, and it's even more special when it's done as effectively as it is in these specific games. It's not an easy emotion to accurately convey. That's why these games will always be endlessly fascinating and incredibly special to me.
