I'm glad you made this video. The hair refinement tool was more of a hair removal tool. Photoshop must have been i8mproving it.

Great video. While I use selection and smart selection a lot, I wouldn't have through about using it to create that external stroke. I work with composites and so hair masking is often something I spend a lot of time on. I'd love to hear more of your thoughts on the Refine Edge brush tool and how that interacts with the refine mode and edge detection settings.
