So interesting you put these two together .. I just happened to watch them back to back the last two nights. I wouldn't have made the connection myself. BODIES is a movie that has really stuck with me. I actually had very little interest in seeing it but finally gave in after the hype and I'm glad I did. In just the last 24 hours it's really haunted me. I love movies that dwell beyond their runtime. So absolutely rare today!
I absolutely agree about Bodies. I expected very little but was pleasantly surprised. The fact that it was made by A24 convinced me to watch it. They have an excellent track record.
Interesting analysis; I saw "Bodies" at the theatres, but never got the chance to see "Crimes" due to the short time it was shown at the multiplex. A lot of people complained Crimes was too graphic and visceral, so the bad word of mouth affected its box office and duration at cinemas. I'll have to check it out at some point if only to see if I draw the same comparisons & insight as Michelle did. Wonderful video as always, keep up the good work!😃
