My husband and I made a spreadsheet with names we liked and then we compared any names we had in common. Then we chose that smaller list and narrowed it down. I also thought long and hard about how the name would work with the last name, one syllables, etc. I also made sure the middle name flowed. Congratulations again!

my mom as soon as she found out I was a girl (which was on accident she was planning for a surprise but my doc forgot to white out the gender on the anatomy scan) my mom was overjoyed and knew for a fact my name would be Esme.
I've always been the only Esme in class that's for sure, but I can't find my name on a mug or magnet anywhere LOL
As a 22 year old, I personally know and have met two other Esme's and they both happen to be my age!

I worked in a daycare and if I would have had kids there are names I would not have used because of certain children. Jacob is one of them, we had one little boy that was a handful and that name would just remind me of him, plus it was super popular when I was at the daycare I think in my one class we had 3. I love unique names, but some people get carried away and then they're just BIZARRE! (i.e. Apple?) 😂😂 I named my son Kylan Wayne Alexander ❤ (I picked the first name, we incorporated the 1st middle name from his father & grandfather's middle name, & his dad chose the 2nd middle name. And also having two middle names is a tradition in my family) & my baby girl is Giavanna Elyse ❤ (her daddy actually had the first name picked out for years and he was just STUCK on it, so the more I heard it the more i liked it, and I just LOVED the middle name Elyse) We don't know other kids with the names, but they're still not like, strange haha. Perfect middle ground!
