Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m glad the review resonated with you, and I’m really excited that you’re giving it a shot. I’d love to hear your thoughts as you make your way through it. Hope you enjoy the read!
The book is absolutely Proustian. In the spirit of full disclosure, I've only read the first volume of Proust's magnum opus, "In Search of Lost Time", but there is an elegant beauty to both works, and both also meticulously recount the minutiae of the respective authors' early lives. It's no wonder they are often compared to each other. Personally, I enjoyed "My Struggle: Book One" more than I enjoyed "Swann's Way", though both are incredible in their own unique ways. Both tap into this universal human experience. One might be able to argue that Proust is an even better writer than Knausgaard, but Knausgaard may be the superior storyteller . . . Either way, you should read both and decide for yourself! 😄
Thank you for reviewing it in such a vivid way. I'm gonna start it today.

It's absolutely unflinching, and the way he lays it out is practically hypnotic! Thanks so much for watching and for the kind words!
I've heard this gets compared to Proust from readers although much more approachable and relatable (especially to modern life).
