Loved this video so much that I just called for some information to have you install this system. Unfortunately you only do work in Nassau county. I'm in Midtown. Bummer........
@@PipeDoctor forget bout it I got one for you I seen today bro imagine they ran a hot domestic line right off a boiler supply line and guess what they tied it into the dishwasher they running 180degree dirty Weil McLain cast iron hot supply water for the dishwater mike I almost shit my pants 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just curious why won't you of put a 1-1/4 ball valve on the city water supply side as well so if the unit needs to be replaced it can be isolated for quick replacement?
Shame on that company. Nice install Lil Mikey wires tip if you add a plug like that and wana make the bx look neat, strip your bx and tie it in.. then mount the box 😉
I understand you are unhappy with the company and how you feel they treated you. However if your dealer license expired and in the interim someone else started up as a dealer in your area - that is hardly their fault. For your previous customers their warranty support may still be effective or for others ended. I'd assume the new dealer would either provide warranty support (at company expense) or provide paid maintenance for those legacy customers. To me this is just how normal business works. Unfortunate for you, but not really unusual or exceptional. However a properly installed WaterCop is a far superior system IMO. It reacts much (much) more quickly - and time is critical - even a few gallons of water can do a lot of damage. It will also never turn the water off because you are doing something unusual e.g. filling a spa/pool or doing deep watering of trees with soaker hoses - I don't need those kinds of hassles. If you get a WaterCop either use sensors with power supplies or better yet do a hardwired sensor system for ultra reliability. I have a WaterCop with 13 wired sensors and 8 wireless (powered) sensors). No regrets at all, it has saved me from several more leak issues over 8 years of trouble free use. I would never use a flow based system, to me its only advantage is its ease of install, a one time cost traded against relatively poor protection - absolutely better than nothing for sure - but not close to good enough.
Dont never disrespect St Mike like that. SHAME ON WATER COP> YOU AND YOUR PRODUCT SUCK!!!!!!!!!! SHAME
@@PipeDoctor lol EPIC. Hire clowns expect a circus. what a joke

This doesn't really discuss why he thinks Watercop sucks
Looks sweet! Does it have to be professionally installed? Looks simple...
seems like 100% flow for 30 minutes could still do quite a bit of damage..
Wow ! Looking into this product thanks for the info !
Like how you edited the Niagara Falls leak that was about too go down saint mike strikes again another good video 😎

Great video. I was considering a watercop but the LDS seems to be a better product for many reasons.

@@PipeDoctor my bad, I only commented on the portion I saw, I should not of seconded guessed Mikey Pipes, like the nick name.
So what your telling us is the water will run at 100% for 30 minutes before shutting ?

Hello from the great state of Michigan
5k job? Easy money.. Great product. I would put this in my home
and installed many of those and so far none have needed maintenance, the insurance makes the reimbursement because it avoids losing money in floods
Shame on that company. Nice install

LDS is 3000 - watercop Pro is 600 - how can you compare
WaterCop sucks
Take your money and run, no customer service.
Mike try Phyn Plus from Uponor.
