The earlier seasons really were the best. The technos were cool and all but the beginning really had that gritty post-apocalyptic atmosphere. And the outfits and make up actually looked realistic for the situation.
same here, this used to be really complex and sophisticated wenever i watched as a child, but now, i dunno, mabye my child mind overated the programme, still nice to relive those memories
I was six when I first saw this show and ever since have thought I completely imagined it. From the eccentric outfits and hairstyles I seriously thought I had most likely had a dream a long time ago and the things I kept "remembering" weren't real. Turns out I wasn't crazy after all haha
I remember it being on after Milkshake but like so early like 6am! Which is why I hardly caught it lol unless they changed the time at some point! Yes! I watch it on Prime but came to UA-cam for the comments and Tribe Community! ❤
I grew watching the tribe, every Saturday morning on channel 5. I never missed an episode. Can't believe it's actually on here, now I can rewatch every episode back to back.
I remember being a huge fan of this show when I was younger and I just remembered it but couldn't remember the title so I searched "kids surviving post apocalyptic world, dressed weirdly" and I FOUND IT. oh and this show made me wanna dress like this and get my hair all weird and stuff. memories
I still remember first watching this show at about 6 years of age, the apocalyptic landscape and teenage gangs gave me chills! Immediately, I fell in love with the show. I'll forever remember young and curious Cloe wandering the streets and picking up a cat, only to be saved by Amber and Dal on rollerblades. That was one of the only scenes stuck in my head until I rediscovered the show just last year, I'm so happy I can watch them now, thank you for keeping the dream alive. :)
@twakka86 omg same, every morning when this was on chanel 5, I watched The Tribe religiously. Lex was my fave character from beginning to end as, he had the most character growth next to Ebony.
For some reason, I remember that there was a girl named Trudy who had a baby and I think at one point they even stole the child from her! And they used to eat a lot of beans.
Thank you so much for uploading this and giving so many of us the opportunity to relive a part of our childhood! I re-watched the whole series over 2020/2021, one episode a day, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The story, the characters, the music… Amazing how lines and lyrics get stuck in your mind, even in a foreign language I didn’t fully understand back then, but I can remember every word years and years later, and have since learned that language so finally understood what it meant, even if it wasn’t subtitled back then (the lyrics of the theme songs, for example). It’s interesting to watch it now as an adult. How I see things differently now than back then. How I'm a different person today. The last time I watched it was back in the Summer of 2005, final season, between elementary school and high school. I was working a summer job so I had my dad tape it every morning (yes, literally, tape it on VHS cassette tapes - if kids today even know what a VHS cassette tape is - oh, those were fun) so I could watch it later. And I remember when he first told me about this new series that was about to run on TV, called The Tribe. They just don’t make them as they used to… I have to say I get goosebumps every time I see that plane. I mean, that episode was truly the most epic season finale. Especially when you are a kid. So much time has passed, and so quickly… And it will never come back. It’s difficult at times to really grasp what that truly means. Times were so different back then. Simpler, better in many ways. No smartphones, no social media - which is not very social sadly, to be honest, and is bereft of true human element of interaction, which negatively affected all of us, whether we admit it or not (just think how easy it is to publicly write something to someone that you would never dare say to their face in private). Social media could very well break our society down. But with all the negative sides, there are still positives that are greater. I mean, here I am in Croatia, having the opportunity to not only watch this freely, reminisce, but also interact with so many people of similar age from all around the world who share similar memories of their childhood with this one series. Well, even talk with the producers and actors themselves. Unimaginable only decades ago. Let us not forget how to be human in this unprecedented digital age.
Hello from Norway to dude in Croatia 👋 im also sitting here in the nostalgic mood, revisiting TV series from my youth. We were so naive back then, I wish I could go back to that time for a day and revisit what it was like to be clueless about politics and history. I like your writing!

I would kill to have this series remade. God, I loved this so much as a kid..
But, It would kill me more if they ruined it.
Yeeaaahh, and I'm afraid people will if they did so.. Probably just milk it out really badly..
Not if they put it in the hands of people who get the series and its themes while at the same time make it acceptable for modern audiences
hmm.. It would be interesting to see.
Allegedly Netflix already have. There is a show called Between that has ripped this off
