The only time 2.4Ghz is preferred over 5Ghz is when your router is far away from you and there are walls in between. 2.4Ghz can penetrate walls easily and you'll get a better connection with it.

This video was very helpful. I was always using a wired connection but recently I moved to a new house and was forced to use WiFi and I had a cheap Wi-Fi adapter like the one shown at the beginning of the video and it was giving me max 10mbps which sucked a lot. After watching this video I bought a TP-link Wi-Fi adapter (not the same model but the upgraded one as it was on sale & only a few $_$ more) and when I did my 1st-speed test after installing it, I got 200+mbps (freaking insane). I would highly recommend it over those cheap ones (I own 2 different models of cheap adapters & they both suck).

I personally don't think wifi mobo isn't best unless it's on wifi 6. but it doesn't come cheap. I use tp-link t2u ac 600, The second wifi adapter use in the video and I get remarkable speed. I easily get 120 Mbps speed on the 150 Mbps connection. My router is in a different room and separated by 2 walls in between with a few meters of distance.
I connect my android phone to my PC using a USB cable and it turns into a temporary wifi dongle for my PC. Best Free and cheap way to access wifi on a PC. It's funny that even tech UA-camrs are not aware of this and not suggesting such tips.
Mean while me who hacked my neighbours wifi using old android, connecting to it and then using a usb threatening with pc ,never throw old phones 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.

Bhai mere pas 10yr old pc hai. AMD Athlon II X2 250 processor + Gigabyte motherboard (AM3 socket) + 4G Ram. Sab theek tha window 7 installed thi. Lekin kuch time pahle pata nhi kya hua, resolution issue aane laga. Resolution setting bhi jo setting aani chahiye wo nhi aa rhi. Fir maine window 10 upgrade kar diya. Windows 10 ke bhi default graphic hote hai but waha bhi resolution issue. Resolution setting se kuch change nhi ho rha. Display driver dal ke dekh liye har tarah se (Update via net, istall from file etc) lekin koi fark nhi padta. Maine check kiya to pata chala ye motherboard wind7 tak hi support karta hia, but problem to win7 me bhi aa rhi thi. Kya mere motherboard ke graphics kharab ho gaye hai? Kya ek graphic card lagane se ye problem theek ho jayegi? Ya mujhe CPU+MB+RAM change karna chahiye?

Old wale ka ram slot me thori side me bump hai jisme ram baith ta h aur new wale slot me middle k pas hi bump h . Ab old ram lag nahi raha new slot me due to different slots . How is it possible. Mai ab kaun sa ram lu. Old me 1600mhz hai

Can't we use USB tethering on our mobile device and connect our device with WI-FI. I'm saying this because I am using this on my pc .
Just use usb tethering, and your ping will be less than 10 in most scenarios, upto 95% lan speed !

Bhai mere pas 10yr old pc hai. AMD Athlon II X2 250 processor + Gigabyte motherboard (AM3 socket) + 4G Ram. Sab theek tha window 7 installed thi. Lekin kuch time pahle pata nhi kya hua, resolution issue aane laga. Resolution setting bhi jo setting aani chahiye wo nhi aa rhi. Fir maine window 10 upgrade kar diya. Windows 10 ke bhi default graphic hote hai but waha bhi resolution issue. Resolution setting se kuch change nhi ho rha.
Display driver dal ke dekh liye har tarah se (Update via net, istall from file etc) lekin koi fark nhi padta.
Maine check kiya to pata chala ye motherboard wind7 tak hi support karta hia, but problem to win7 me bhi aa rhi thi.
Kya mere motherboard ke graphics kharab ho gaye hai?
Kya ek graphic card lagane se ye problem theek ho jayegi?
Ya mujhe CPU+MB+RAM change karna chahiye?

IG you can connect your Router and your PC with the help of USB charging cable .That will also give good speed
I think you should use ethernet only for problem of getting wifi connect , slow internet

mere pass nano wala dongle hai and me usko apne laptop me use karta hu bcz wifi kharab hai uska..... mera 70mbps wala plan hai with single band router and usme me nano dongle se connect kia toh mujhe 40 mbps ka speed aajata hai........... and 3 months ho gaya no problem till now.......... bro just try downloading the latest drivers of this nano usb dongle for windows 10
Mere pas 1 asus ki purani laptop h , aur mai new laptop lia , ab new laptop me ram upgrade krne ki kosis kia ,to pata chala slot hi different hai. Old wale ka ram slot me thori side me bump hai jisme ram baith ta h aur new wale slot me middle k pas hi bump h . Ab old ram lag nahi raha new slot me due to different slots . How is it possible. Mai ab kaun sa ram lu. Old me 1600mhz hai

Then I switched back to LAN though..
i AM USing 250 rs usb dongle and get exact same results as i get with the LAN cable 50MBPS
