I discovered Raid from your videos. I started playing to kill time during my chemo treatments. I love Raid. I spend hours and hours daily. I spend very little. Cancer is a money pit. The grind though is very tiring. I haven't missed a day though. I'm in the 271+ rewards. Have to be a year or very near it. This QOL update is going to be very nice for me.
So happy for you. Hope you keep getting better, in the game as well. I too was like I don't play games like this but I was like lemme give it a try cuz Ash plays it, as a Clash royale player. Now I've dropped clash royale, CoC etc just like Ash.
I collected my 271st login reward yesterday. Noticeably missing in the 271+ rewards: 5-star chicken. You can avoid the grind with RSL Helper. Accumulate multi-battles and use them only when waiting for RSL Helper to update, which happens with every Raid update.
So happy some can find little happiness in life through games and yt

Seeing as I can't seem to pull any ally attack champion aside from Catacomb Councilor, and I have 1 built and 3 extra, that's definitely one I'll empower. He probably wouldn't make the video, but still. haha
Man, right off the top of my head I would definitely empower Genbo and Magnarr and Aniri, Geomancer for sure, Skullcrown and Sinesha, Toragi, Madame Serris, Seer, Urogrim, Maneater, Demytha, Skullcrusher, Deacon, Achak, Doompriest.
That's like 15 or so right there! lol
I wonder if empowerment would make Madame Serris good enough to pop back into platinum arena? I remember when she used to be a staple of Platinum.

exactly plus this is all stuff that should have been done long time ago. It's like how excited everyone was when they added the clan boss damage counter like that was a huge leap

This is good, now they need to add more champ vault space, at least 400 more spots on each vault. Thanks for the news, look forward to this updates.
You can already add more champ vault space - at the cost of gems.
Well i have my gem mines maxed. Weird i thought the max was 400 main vault and so forth on the pthers. I meant add so it can be like 800 max champs in the main vault, same with the other 2.
The potion upgrade slider will be sweet… we will be able to see how many potions we need per champ way easier.

This is going to be awesome. I'm kind of interested in seeing what the epics are going to be like after the update. From Cb teams like Godseekers, Dymithas, and Maneaters, to Hydras with Shamael, to even a +4 Geomancer (which I still never gotten!)

I remember you mentioned Epic Empowerment in a recent video, or a video not long ago.
I watched your collab with Drock yesterday discussing most of this stuff, then saw the ping on discord about all this stuff and was laughing about the timing on that. Couldn't wait to watch this video of it coming to fruition. The tavern improvements and epic empowerment are the one's I'm most excited about so glad to see them first on the docket! Hopefully will have both of those in the next month or two.
Hell yeah, maybe that +4 Relickeeper will put me over the top for Faction Wars haha

That is a good point you made about the books. Hopefully everyone won't just hit the easy button on skill upgrades and still do one at a time for certain champs to see if they keep all the skills upgraded they need without using all books possible.
I'm really happy about this quality of life update coming up! I would love 2 things added though. 1. Being able to delete things from the inbox. I'm sitting on around 250 arena refills and I'd love to scrap some of those to make room so I can buy more stuff. 2. It would be amazing if they included a shard counter on the portal to show your mercy without having to track it
Didn't expect this to happen, but very cool news. Everyone uses some epics even if you're an and game player, so being able to make those stronger (even tho I expect the bonus will be smaller than for legos) will be huge.
love this, the only issue is how long it'lll take to get some of this stuff
i hope part of the reason we're even getting this is due to them looking at other games in this space and trying to compete

I hope that I will be able to access Stone Skin & Protection accessories from Hydra Clash finally as my clan wins our Hydra Clash competitions weekly but we don't have OP champs in OP gear with OP Damage as we are all stuck on Hydra Hard still. It would go a long way to get these critical accessories to build better teams and expand our set bonuses adding more value & dimension to building every champion to achieve higher levels of Hydra.
Hey ash, I have a QOL improvement I’d like for you to bring to raids attention. We need a level selector/slider for auto battles at least in campaign. I take my 3* champs to level 16 before feeding for champion training events for more points. Can’t use auto battles for this and it’s a huge pain in the butt to manual all those 3*. Would literally save hours every year.

Hey Ash, with the news. I'd love to see a vid on Empower vs faction guardian vs dups. For example I have 2 Seers, is it better to empower or put them in faction guardian and/or have 2 seers built.?

tbh, I'm more excited for QOL updates than content updates. Smoothing out how we play the game does so much for us. Looking forward to all of these.
Also, idk where else to say this, but I've mentioned something to MtgJedi before that I'm waiting for Plarium to add. A new kind of champ. A champ that has a random affinity when summoned. MtgJedi yells at me whenever I mention it, saying to not give Plarium the idea. lol

Watcher Of Realms has rare and epic empowerment through its awakening system anyways. Moonton is on the low end of competition right now, but they could be a formidable opponent to Plarium in the long haul. So even as a business move, this is very smart for them to do.
Glad you made the push for epic empowerment, but can we get rare empowerment lol. Keep up the great work.
I'm quite excited about the empowerment. I still use so many epics and will probably use a lot more if I can get them to +3 or +4.

I kind a dread opening sacreds because I knew they would do something with epics at some point so I never fed any, now I will likely be able to free up 200 spacesand wont hate life opening sacreds or getting epic dups... it cant come fast enough.
now, if they allow disempowerment of them for coins... and if they change that at all or put up some wanted epics in that coin shop... I may have a few +4 epics or I may have a few wanted epics and maybe a leggo.
So many new video and collab options. The best epics to empower for arena offense, for defense, for wave clearing, etc

This is the first update since Doom Tower that I've been super hyped for. Others have either been a Oh no or a ye ok mostly a ye ok, but very hyped for these changes.
If the developers are truly listening… the best quality of life update would be to stop increasing the resource cost on events.
All that does is piss people off and make them quit.
One of my shamael is fully awakened, I would love to have him in +4. He has savage gear too.
Haha it hurts knowing I could have made a +4 magnarr but I decided to fuse away 3 of them... Pain of the year, bothers me even more than not having pulled a geo, farakin, skullcrown, seer, genbo etc yet. At least I can make a +4 romero for fun
I'm playing ftp at the moment. On my main account I had fed a dozen Geos as chickens over the years. GEO! Chickens. Empowering epics was so necessary.

...a couple weeks ago i cleaned out all the dupe epics that weren't being used in faction guardians from my vault.
thank you ash this is good news but if can try talking them into allowing permanent free gear removal like in watchers of realms also the quick battle in clan boss should be unlocked if can 1 or 2 key it

I rarely get duplicate epics as f2p. But i will take this as a bonus if implemented well.
Can you do a video on best champs for both hydra and arena. I'm trying to build up teams for both areas so would love a champ list that I wouldn't have to change builds for.

Did anybody thought about HOW Paylarium will implement "Epic Empowerment"? Or let me put it differently! what are the chances that Paylarium, a company known very well for their "interesting" business practices, will implement Epic Empowerment for the "same cost" as Lego Empowerment?
Knowing Paylarium, I wouldnt be surprised if you needed 10, yes TEN copies of an Epic to empower your Epic ONCE!!!! giving it +0.5 HP, +0.000000001 ACC and +0 to rest! Yes I know that I am exaggerating but knowing Paylarium I rather err on the side of caution!

As soon as I saw the epic empowerment I thought, "uhoh, Ash is going to have to change his pants now." I knew you would be so excited for that. I'm actually surprised they are doing any of this as sometimes it feels like they are just trying to milk everyone as much as possible. But these changes might actually help player retention.

But dont give empowerment to rares because they potentially lose money
