There are definitely some areas that need improvement , but I personally think the team is ahead of where I thought they would be and I love the attitude the coach has. 1-0 this week !!! GBR
@@dillon8992Michigan state is horrible too. Illinois QB is a turnover machine worse than sims. We have 5 solid shots left atleast. Iowa just got shutout against a B+ tier defense in Penn State
Anybody who thinks Nebraska football was horrible for 2 decades is either being dishonest or refuses to acknowledge Bo Pelini's success in the program. From 2008-2014 Bo pelini never had a season with less than 9 wins. It's been 9 seasons since the University fired Bo Pelini and the last winning season Nebraska had was in 2016 at 9-4 under Mike Riley.
Yeah those blocks looked clean to me too. Which was funny, considering a lot of holds that could’ve been called but weren’t. But, watching the game through the eyes of a fan could play a role in what I noticed and did not lol.
Haarberg for QB1! The kid has battled and EARNED the right to start against Michigan. Imagine we don’t turn the ball over so much the first two games and help our defense who were balling out. We win and are 4-0 right now.
Not a clean game today, special teams had a rough game, defense looked lackluster in first half and the offense definitely has issues, but won’t get fixed until we have a dynamic qb
@@randytwidwell7418I want Harberg to work out, but I have my doubts due to his passing. He doesn’t go through his progressions and he isn’t very accurate. He had some nice runs, but we need someone who can make a big time throw when needed. I hope he improves, but as of right now I’m not completely sold on him. This definitely could change if he improves in upcoming games.
O line missed a lot of blocking assignments, I do think the run-play calling was conservative and they didn't make many adjustments. Possibly holding the "cards" for a better opponent? Lol we'll find out next week! GBR!
Glad we won but are we tired of the offensive line sucking yet? At some point you gotta question the offensive coaches... Also, you can see how well we run the option, why aren't we leaning more into the things that we are good at? I know the coaches want to show off what they can do in order to make themselves look good for future coaching positions at other schools but shouldn't we demand that our coordinators adapt the scheme to the players strengths in order to win and keep the fan base engaged with the program rather than expecting the players to adapt to a system in order to make the coaches look good? The interim coaches last season beat Iowa for the first time in forever... Have we really progressed much from that level of play? You could just promote random staff members to interim head coaching and coordinator positions and they would probably be more hungry and want to do whatever it takes to win. eventually one of them might actually be a good fit and it would probably be a better route than going all in on these coaches who haven't proven themselves here yet and being obligated to give them several years of failure to figure it out, which seems to rarely work. I see huge positives with this staff but I saw positives with previous staffs for years but they weren't able to just tie all the pieces together. We have a lot of trial and error to work off of at Nebraska and we should learn from the last couple decades rather than allowing ourselves to keep falling into the same traps as before. We're all restless and this same old story is getting old. I think we're done giving the program the same amount of patience as we have in the past. If we don't go into the Michigan game prioritizing the schemes that we excel in, it's clear that nothing has changed and we haven't learned our lesson yet. Don't panic after a run play fails on first or second down and automatically go to a dangerous bomb pass which takes too long to progress when you don't have an offensive line that can protect the QB. Just chew the clock and don't let the game get out of reach, save the experimentation for the cupcake teams.
The Power I only gets 5-8 yards per play and the OC won't get an interview with Dallas or New England running that. You gotta be fresh and progressive!
Callahan 2004 first scandal gone unnoticed was Delone attacking Miller from Behind off Field, Breaking his Manible, several players refraining the Unprovoked Delone , while Delone Screamed he was going to Shoot him Next time he see him. Callahan was informed, met with Miller & requested that for The team sake keep quiet, then sent Miller downstairs to Doctor Albers to be given Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Darvacet, which Initiated an addiction to painkillers.
Once again you were wearing them down with run plays and in a very good groove, right before the rain delay at the end. The guys run a pass play and don’t make the third down. They get the ball and score. NOT A GOOD LOOK. Just run the damn ball.
@@FodorPupil The Husker fans are a mile wide, but only an inch deep. They always call a loss if a game is predicted to be close. When the Huskers lose, they all say, "I told you so, just like Frost." It's a losing mentality.

Tell Coach to check the film on one of the runs called back. WR Alex Bullock #84 was pulling on and dragging his feet (instead of moving his feet) try to pull his man down. Husker fans arent happy with yesterdays win because we expect more. This was an ugly win and it shouldve been a blow out. How much better is Nebraska than Rutgers? Rutgers kept it close for 2.5 quarters. Don't be surprised if Hutmacher and company shut down Michigan and keep it close to the very end.

Found a way to get the win coach. Congrats.
Great job battling today
