TALKCalgary I know man! I’ve always been able to draw/oil paint. (Not sayin I’m a expert by no means but I’m ok) and I got kinda bored with pencil black/grey. So went to doin some color stuff, then seen airbrush pics... and I was hooked! And I’ve been doin it for almost 4 months now. Probably 4-6 nights a week(2-3 hours a night) and it is a different kinda challenge that’s for sure but I love it for that challenge. I wish I had some classes around here but nope no where near me. Which I’m self taught at most of my art but I can watch tutorials all day but it doesn’t come close bein in person with a artist like the asylum. But jus gotta keep on keepin on, life’s a garden dig it! Lol

I can’t keep a consistent line from my cmc plus. Tip dry/clogging makes a fine line skip and stutter. It’s sooooo irritating. Am I not reduced enough? If I reduce enough to get good flow and low PSI, then I cannot travel slowly due to spidering, but I need to be slow moving for some detail work. Kinda frustrating and any and all advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

I have this iwata airbrush and having a hard time with PSI AND getting small thin lines vs big huge sprays. I have a book and watched starter videos but my airbrush also spits splatters without kinks, and it's been taken apart and thoroughly cleaned with new needle from day one. No damage. I've tried raising and lowering psi to see if it also adjusted the size of the flow but I guess I'm just not understanding. It's deterring me from airbrushing
