I love the scene where Reinahrd and Sieg discover the samurai fighting style xD As for the villain, he has a little "character arc." At first when he kills the other duelist he says that "I'm not a Duelist, I'm a Murderer." Possibly he was a former Duelist and when he fights against Reinhard he regains his sense of honor (he stops being a "Murderer") and commits suicide (precisely as if he followed the samurai code hehe)
I think it's really funny that Siegfrieds Nickname in the show is Sieg, when the typical way you'd shorten that name in German is Siggie (definitely not how I always refer to him...)
Watching the gaidens again made me realized why I liked the empire side for the gaidens due the blonde brat and his red mane journey of becoming a big deal step by step While in the main series I prefer the FPa with Yang wenli with his life and career truly blooming mainly due to fighting the blond brat Also the assassin reminds me of bloodborne hahaha
Yeah... to think that for the most part during their years-long face-off, Reinhard was not the best version of himself that he could've been if ONLY KIRCHEIS WAS THERE AAAA
