This scene always brings tears to my eyes, because it was both a sad and heartwarming moment. At the beginning of The Santa Clause, Scott & Charlie’s relationship was a little rocky. But when Scott took over as Santa and his transformation progressed, he and Charlie developed a much stronger bond as Father & Son. Charlie was the one who believed Scott was Santa and helped make him Santa when nobody else did. Eventually Laura & Neil did believe Scott was Santa at the end too and they were all on good terms. This is why The Santa Clause is my favourite Xmas film of all time. It had the perfect blend of both the heart as well as the comedy and also it sends a strong message about believing yourself and others. ❤
They could've rationalized this as Scott just another time going on convincing Charlie that he's Santa to make him happy like they have before. But no. This time they're seeing with their eyes how genuine and magical this is and are not seeing Scott as Santa, they're believing he is. BEST MOMENT IN MOVIE HISTORY.
Ode to the Laura acting, when she realized he was Santa, as well as Scott and Charlie in their embrace. I miss the days when Disney actually cared about creating a family product.
I’m glad you like it its very emotional. Tim Allen is a very funny man he makes a great Santa and buzz lightyear. He may have made wrong changes but that was a long time ago his a good man
You must understand I love this movie and so does my family I love it’s sequels too me and my family are good understanding and positive and we have LOVE.
Santa is real. His name was st Nick. A father of the Orthodox Church. He brought toys to children who needed them and gifts to adults. He fell asleep in the lord in eternity so he is real. And his spirit brings gifts still . Just believe
What I truly want for Christmas is something that isn't an object. It was actually something most heart filled people wanted for so long and its breaks my heart that it never came. What I want for Christmas is for everyone to get along and to work together.
Charlie didn’t want anything to do with his Dad before he was Santa and now that his Dad’s Santa he always wants to be with him. Charlie is cold hearted.

At least Scott (Santa) didn’t abduct Charlie this time. That’s the part that bothered me about this movie. The part where he took Charlie without Laura’s permission or knowledge and didn’t even care. I’m guessing he did that out of revenge. I’m glad he didn’t get away with it.
He didn’t really abduct him the first time remember his kid did go with him willingly because he wanted to he just happened to say yes and on top of that you can’t dr. on child it’s not like you with him he’s a complete bad parent the way they took away how many ways by seven how many way was wrong because I really didn’t do anything wrong to really lose his rights

No watch the santa clauses. It will explain everything. It wasnt because the other santa fell. It was a plan. His santa suit went to scott like a magnet when other santa couldnt get up,
Just want to point out that Charlie didn't say I love you Dad, but said I love you Santa Claus. Which means he only loves him cause he's Santa Claus, not because he is his father and that makes it more sad since Charlie wanted nothing to do with him until he became Santa Claus.
I wish Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas was better than other Disney videos. 1. Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas was better than Aladdin (1992). 2. Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas was Aladdin 2: The Return Of Jafar (1994). 3. Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas was better than Aladdin 3: Aladdin And The King Of Thieves (1995). 4. Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas was better than the Tim Allen The Santa Clause videos (1994/2002/2006).
I just think it's really profound how Laura and Neil got to witness the genuine exposure of Scott being Santa Claus for real
I found it profound that it was Laura who came around first. It was super powerful, the minute she believed in Scott being Santa.
That moment when Neal looks in Santa's eyes and realizes who he is, MAKES this entire movie.
Also notice how his voice goes slightly higher in pitch when he says "Santa?" It's like his inner child came out for the first time in years...
I love the way he turns away and lets out that sound, I don't even know what to call it, a huff, a groan? It's the sound of "I CAN'T DEAL" 😂
I always use to cry at this scene as a kid, still brings a tear to my eye 🥺
Me too.😭
@@erindowning9375 I cried seeing this when I was younger

The best Christmas movie of all time.
Hot swoon worthy cute heartwarming funny and sweet
Aw man, you stopped before the best part! When Bernard walks in and jump-scares Neil and just casually says to him, "Hey, how you doin." 🤣
I love this scene so much it still makes me cry 😢 it's so good
Tim Allen is brilliant.
This was his first movie role, and he knocked it out of the park.

The scene where Scott gives Laura and Neil their childhood presents shows that those up north had not forgotten them.
When Neil realized he got Santa arrested and almost ruined Christmas

I know right? 😢 😭
Awww don’t cry Charlie
Scott Calvin: Actually, I-- I think it's a much better idea, that you stay here with your Mom and Neil.
This scene is always a bit Bittersweet for me, having grown up. I wanted Santa to be real so badly
Santa is as real as the god in the clouds AKA belief is what makes them real.

Who wouldn't be if they were eight and their father had to work on Christmas Eve?
Scott Calvin: I don't have a lot of time.
What I truly want for Christmas is something that isn't an object. It was actually something most heart filled people wanted for so long and its breaks my heart that it never came. What I want for Christmas is for everyone to get along and to work together.
Scott at that moment see that although Charlie is his son he is now "Father Christmas" to the rest of the world and that is why he can't be selfish.
Bernard: What's all this boo-hooing going on here?
This scene always tears me up!
Aww who’s bawling

That "Santa?" can bring a grown man to tears
I LOVE THE 1 SANTA CLAUSE MOVIE 💜
How wonderful I’m so happy. Just what ever you do just ignore the miserable teenage boy who don’t like it there just jerks bullies

Charlie was the cutest child actor
My sister cried when scott had his visitation rights removed. I cant find that scene on youtube.
Laura learned the true meaning of Christmas.🎉

Who’s watching this after seeing the new The Santa Clauses trailer? 😭
Me
In this movie when the king/queen dies there’s a new king or queen waiting to take over it’s the same with Santa and Easter bunny
That's Touching
This is a good Christmas story
Notice the bitter taste he had when he said Neil
I think it's him finally accepting Neil. The second one him and Neil are pretty much friends.
Some things take getting used to.
He probably can't see his dad

Sorry, Charlie. But you’re just a kid and a kid needs to stay home with his mom and a stepdad and of course go to school.
Buzz lightyear is Santa
If Laura killed the old Santa instead of Scott would she become Santa even though she's female ?
