Worked for me also!!!! Same thing had happened, charged fully, only came on while plugged in… pressed slightly on the plastic piece inside usb-c port, it came right on!! Thank you for this fix!!
Never charge it directly from a wall charger instead, plug it into a power bank or a computer cause high voltage will fry the transmitters inside overtime. Make sure the battery is placed correctly and the lid is firmly closed. Try these things and let me know if you still have the same issue!
Mine died yesterday, I did charge with a 20W charger, then used for an hour, and its dead . It works only while plugged in. so my suggestion is to charge it with VIA computer or any less powerful charging adapter. or the best thing is to get an external battery charger

This happens and I immediately throw mine away in the bin and bought the rpm 85. All these devices are quite cheap in the market so not worth my time to repair it anyway……
Fully charge it n hold smoke button while on n unplug it at same time while hold smoke button it just worked 4 me
Just push the plastic middle piece in the USB C port with a piece of plastic not too hard till you see the SMOK logo appear

Try replacing the 18650 battery, because it comes without battery on the non-pro has pre installed.

Take the battery out, then press all the buttons at the same time and hold for 10sec. Put the battery back in and turn on...

The same thing happened to me, it's not the battery, it's the battery cover that doesn't make contact correctly.
