I picked up my new 2022 Ford Ranger Tremor on Wednesday. It's a Lariat and has great electronic features. I hope to take it up the mountains soon. Observation: the main "new" feature that stands out to me is the auto start/stop ignition. If I stop and press the brakes for over a couple of seconds or so, it turns off. This is common at stop signs or stop lights. Then as soon as I hit the gas pedal it turns on immediately - almost unnoticed unless you pay attention to the recharge. I looked at forums and many drivers seem to like the feature because it is meant to save on fuel economy. Occasionally, some drivers complain about it. What is your experience with that auto start/stop feature (if you have it)?
Yes I have it too, and personally I don’t love it. Next to the rear locker button on the center console there is a auto start button you can press to disable this. I usually push that every time I get into the truck. I wish there was a permanent disable feature but pushing the button isn’t so bad.
Great Job on the video. Looking forward to more from you. Maybe we will cross paths someday. I have the 2021 Ranger Tremor with the Smart Cap. Wish you the best with your channel.
I'd like that, man! I go to the Rigs n Coffee meetups fairly often over at Spiritof1876. Let me know if you ever wanna grab a coffee there. My ig handle is in description if you wanna get in touch
Nice video, heading out to Colorado with my Ranger next month! Does the 1up bike rack fit with the tailgate down alright? My Kuat rubs against the tailgate so I’d need to get the swing out arm to make it work without a hassle.
@@GetBusyLivin thanks for the reply, sounds like a swingout is in order. Not sure yet! I'll be in the boulder area, would love any recommendations! I'm fairly novice, been years since I rode MTBs but getting back into it.
@@rowbradley well, there are a ton of trails all around Boulder. Green Plateau Trail is pretty fun and mild. If you're looking for something a little more challenging Floyd Hill or North Table Mountain in Golden are some of my favorites. Check them out!
Love your channel! Vids are awesome and you inspire me to make the most out of my vacations! Can’t wait to get my tremor! 🙌🏽
Awesome! Thank you!
Enjoyed the video and subscribed!

Unfortunately it does not :/ You’ll have to drop the rack to its lowest setting. Swing out is def not a bad idea. Where are you planning to ride?

@@GetBusyLivin awesome, appreciate the recommendations!!
Good stuff man. I got a 2021 ranger myself. How many miles so far for you? Any issues yet?
Good question. I’m almost at 7k and honestly I still love it. Tacoma has nothing on the Ranger
@@GetBusyLivin Just traded my Tacoma in for a Ranger! Love it!
@@stevec501 damn nice dude! let’s see some videos of it tearing up the trailz 😏
