How did I JUST discover this band. Never heard them on the radio ever. But phenomenal. I would put her voice right up there with the likes of Vixen and Lita.
Another great act from the best music era ever. The label did not support them. In late 80's so many came out that just made a spark. These guys had impressive gang vocals but needed a better boost from the record company I am guessing. D'Molls Tuff Wildside Valentine xyz the list goes on....Babylon A.D. Roxx Gang....And so on....

We had ugly kid Joe and trixter wearing flannel shirts in 90 92. ..nirvana was nothing NEW. Faith no More created grunge and alternative was already in full force with Edie Brickell and the new Bohemians talking heads and grungy was a band called Wildside who wore flannel in 92 also but bordered on hair metal....Check out a video and look at Wildside"s image. A new wave was coming and bands like these were suppose to be the new sound not Turdvana.....😄

this takes me back to the fantastic era, when there were a lot of female-fronted great bands came out with great albums, and saraya was certainly 1 of the best !!! I still listen to this and their 2nd album !!
I was beyond thrilled to find a MINT original copy of this album at a record show here in SW Florida last year. Awesome debut and the follow up was just as good. Sadly, we got no more from them as "grunge" took ahold of the masses in the early 90's.

Aqui é do Brasil. Conheci esse grupo agora pouco através de uma outra música e essa é a segunda, vou dizer uma coisa, músicas excelentes, gostei demais. Sou da geração Z, e digo o seguinte, É UMA PENA a música não ser mais como era até os anos 80, aqui no Brasil mesmo é uma música pior que a outra, o que reina aqui é o funk que é um verdadeiro LIXO músical, o funk pode ser resumido em "narração cantada de filme pornô".
vc só naõ conheceu o banda Saraya antes por que a nossa radiozinha rock fm nunca trouxe informação que essa banda de Hard Rock existia. o Rock é um universo que você mesmo tem que buscar e caçar informações pra sair desse mundinho fechado de radio rock fm, de umn lado eu entendo a radio também: se ela toca se Saraya naõ daria ibope, pois os roqueiros e metaleiros farofas só querem ouvir guns, nirvana e metalica por exemplo .quem geralmente gosta de hard Rock e se aprofunda no assunto não consegue perder tempo ouvindo grunge e outros estilos dentro do cenario. @@go_askalice nonsense! first, it was a mistake to sign with polydor they had a great ear for talent but signed bands and just threw them out there to see "what would stick" Sandi didn't like the interference from the label on the first album yeah, they changed stuff up on them but the second album produced by Peter Collins was how the band wanted it. Trouble was Sandi broke up with greg munier (rip)he was the founder of the band once he was gone things fell apart Sandi quit performing

I agree 100 percent. Bands like Hellion, Cold Sweat, Leather Wolf, Kingdom Come, Victory to name a few others overlooked by their record companys

Saw Saraya at a little club in Cleveland mid 1980s Peabody's Down Under. Same little joint where I had beers with Jon Bon Jovi same time period.
