I don't know who told you They didn't kill the man in Chill Kill they definitely did. Yes there was jam in the video but it was representative of blood in reference to old horror movies where it was common to do things like that to avoid the censors. We know the whole story through things the members have said. They are 5 sisters and their father kept them locked in the basement and they were forced to perform. Then on yeri's birthday a flash of lightning broke the lock on the door keeping them locked and Wendy takes it upon her self to help them escape but is forced to kill the man. They then bury him under the floorboards and "clean up" then they choose to leave. After some time feeling a mixture of Guilt and Worry about getting caught they come back and decide to Burn down the house they get their favourite things out and burn down the house but the fire catches the attention of the authorities who then discover the body under the floorboards. leading to them getting caught. what we don't know is if they escape because these ladies are special and (without spoiling too much) maybe they should have stayed locked away. The Red Velvet lore is kind of deep and connected luckily we got an official comic explaining the basic details.
In the Peek-A-Boo lyrics, the girls are treating love like a game. Comparing falling in and out love easily to playing peekaboo (there and gone in a flash) or tag (running from one "it" to the next), and not taking it seriously, until the right person comes along. In the mv, that concept is played out as RV searching for the perfect pizza (delivery driver). They've gone through so many boxes of pizza, so many drivers, they're bored out of their minds, and still haven't found the right someone. The thoughtless way they go about finding love is symbolized by the weapons (ties in with the weapons and harm done by love in the Russian Roulette mv), and by kidnapping and playing cruel, messed up games with the delivery driver. And just when he thinks he's gotten away, he finds that they've pulled him back in.
You can try out some of the tricks people use to prevent videos from getting blocked. For example, Horizontal flipping the video you're watching, making the video faded so that it's very pale-looking, slapping a giant word across the video, using a fair usage timer on the screen
3:27 artists from the big 4 entertainment companies (SM, YG, JYP, Hybe) don’t upload their music videos in 1theK. only in their respective channels. SM usually don’t have subs especially the older videos. not sure why.
The MV has nothing to do with the song for most Red Velvet songs. This song is about how falling in love is exciting, like a game of peekaboo or jump scares. In a good way. The MV is about a house of ladies so bored that they order pizza to kill the delivery driver because nothing else gives them that thrill.
Well I actually think they kill the pizza delivery guys to keep their youth and beauty. That's why they kill only on full moons (you also see the painting moving.) For instance, the first delivery guy gets away - because it wasn't quite a full moon, so they were just practicing with him. You also see them laying jewels on the pizza - part of the ritual.
1theK is a digital music distributor (owned by the huge Korean company Kakao) that many companies have an agreement with to upload their music videos. The idea is that many different people are subbed to 1theK as their one-stop-shop for kpop instead of being subbed to hundreds of different entertainment companies. So uploading the mv on 1theK guarantees that more people will watch it than if they had only uploaded it on their own channel. The same is true for Stone Music Entertainment (owned by global superpower CJ ENM), but 1theK is definitely the more popular one. Not all companies do it, especially not the ones that are big enough to where they don't need the help of a 3rd party distributor (Red Velvet is from SM, one of the largest companies). Many people will recommend watching it on 1theK because they always have English CC (maybe something to do with them trying to have a more global audience) and the views still get counted officially in streaming (as opposed to watching a fan reupload with subtitles). Anyways, it's always worth checking to see if 1theK has it if you're looking for CC.
Please do Loona sometime and if you want to maybe you could react to „PTT(Paint The Town)“, “Butterfly“ or „Why not“ these are all amazing songs and Loona themselves are so amazing they aren’t together anymore but they were awesome together and still are.

Well said…kinda true for a lot of kpop but almost always true for RV! 🤣
It definitely ties in with the lyrics. See my other comment.

If Red Velvet ever perform in Twin Peaks, I think they will feel right at home.
The prevailing fan theory is that the vodeo is based on the horror/survival game "Emily Wants to Play," at least there are a ton of similarities.

That was not blood on his cheek. Just tomato sauce from the pizza. He'll be back in Queendom.

Red Velvet is weird, they killed people many times and superb singers.
Course they also try to kill each other in Russian Roulette.
