My BayOptik headlights have arrived with just a few weeks left to get them installed for the new owner. These lights completely change the look of the front. It looks so much more aggressive and matches all the black accents on the car. These lights have the brighter and high color temp rings, black housings and 7000k Osram bulbs. These lights just make the car look complete and the SLEK lip install after that will really bring it all together.

Man those headlights look so much better. Very clean and OE looking. I didnt even mind the stock ones but after seeing these, theres a huge difference.

The only thing I dislike about this headlights is that they look the best when the lights are off. That's when the difference between blacked out and stock is really pronounced and it just looks so perfect and mean. Real OEM+ look.

250 bucks is steep for those bulbs. You can find genuine units on amazon for 120 in d1s and 85 dollars for d2s. The bulbs are amazing though. Osram cbb. The amount of light they put out is incredible.
I'm a truck guy so I don't really know much about he different BMWs but this 1M is the best looking BMW I've seen
I have been enjoying the mods and detailing since I have a stock 1M. Having had both E92 M3 and 1M for extended periods I prefer the 1M. Just have a personal preference for small cars. Someone will enjoy this one with quality upgrades.

At first I hated the uneven halogen rings on my E70 X5M but now I actually like it. Represents a specific era of BMW and part of the character of the car

The side bumper gap can be due to the bumper bracket. Get them checked. OCD here.
Those headlights look almost exactly like those on my M2. I would say the 1M headlights are just a tad more square than the M2’s. Looks great Matt!

How blue are the lights? The pictures and video give it a bluish tint.

Does XO help protect against UV ? Help prevent hazing and yellowing ?
Probably not. I've found that if you care for you lights like this from the beginning, the UV topcoat won't fail.

I like the OEM lights better. The 1M isnt a new car. Its almost like its not supposed to have LED / HID lights looks clean with the halogens

I'm surprised with how knowledgeable you are with car stuff, but with headlight lighting you are misinformed. 7000k is not as bright as 6k or 5k or 4,3k. There are a ton of studies out there and proof of it. They may LOOK nicer but they are putting off more lm's. They are also worse in bad weather. and the bluer the hue the more they strain the eyes.
