Norah has to be one of the most underrated musician in modern times.
True! But atleast she was recognized by the album sales and critical acclaim, including the Grammy's (Back then when they meant something. Now they just give them to anyone who is popular, or who can buy their way to one🙄). "Come Away With Me" is still one of my favourite "Easy Listening" Albums. It was a constant presence in my early 20's, whenever i wanted put on chilled music, whether i was cooking, cleaning, sleeping or generally just relaxing, i'd play it on repeat back-to-front. I also remember downloading a version of it (remember KAZAA? 😜), live in New Orleans, and it sounded even more spectacular, LIVE!!. "Cold Cold Heart" and "I've Got To See You Again" live, were breathtaking! This has brought back wonderful gowing up memories 😍

Some of these comments refering to her weight and the appearance of her band are so shallow and lame. You don't need to try to tear down an absolute amazing musician to bring up your very low self-esteem. She has more talent than all of the land of Disneyland. Sultry and Feeling comes to my mind when I hear her heavenly voice. Keep knocking them out of the park Nora.
If we want this great talent to be around for a long time to come, she needs to keep her health in mind.

Norah has the voice of an angel,the greatest female singer in my lifetime and i'm 73 years old..such a beautiful soothing flawless voice...i like music from the rolling stones to Merle Haggard.... but i absolutely love Norah Jones!

I like the way she always follows her ears in her writing, i never feel a sense that she's trying to prove something. I don't think her music is like McCartney's really in any specific way, but i believe their compositional ears function in a similar way... always looking for the interesting harmonic and melodic side roads and secret passages, lots of little sideways shifts and dodges that don't feel like work, just what obviously was supposed to happen in that bar. I say let her explore and put out albums and these wonderful home shows of just her at the piano or guitar... good music for free every week... for goodness sake don't comment on her appearance (as Bobcat said to his audience... you don't look the same either). She has never pursued celebrity, just kept doing solid, interesting writing with warmth and heart. Take it or leave it. I'll take it, thanks, Ms. Jones.

Oh God, no. OK, not something one might usually hear in regard to a Norah Jones live event. But I have been emotionally destroyed, slain, by first a live recording from 2007 when Norah was SO GOOD it literally made me want to weep, and then I listened for what has to be the 6th time in 5 months or so, the 20th anniversary live special of CAWM. Through the years, Norah, always just TOO good and I say that as a 22 year fan of hers, well, Norah, I think your done totally slaying me for one night. I can't do this at the moment. Her voice is ripping apart at my mental faculties...
A poor innocent wretch like me who can't even begin to understand that vast ocean of talent, can only take "so much".
