no one will as raw and inventive and special. first cassette i wore out from sheer constant playing over and over. every word was what i wanted to say but couldn't find bc of my religious strict upbringing. until sinead, i felt misunderstood. then as a college girl living in the dorms, i was 18 and this bald irish gal blew my mind with her voice. it is no exaggeration to that after Lion and the Cobra, my life would never be the same. there was no going back. i will not be muzzled. sinead was an ok for me to be a warrior when i need to. thank you my sweet sinead. you knew the world could be cruel and yet still you rose and uplifted. i miss you.

I was fortunate to see her live several times in the late 80's and early 90's in Boston. Then again in 2015 in Dubai. I have always loved her voice and it always impresses me to this day.
So hard to hear that someone is died who lived with the bipolair disorder. Many of my favorite artist (Grunge scène) had the bipolair disorder and a lot of them died through several reasons. I am a music snob of sorts who grew up with 80's rock.. I mean, I even have embraced blues and Jazz. My favorite musician and vocalist is Sully Erna.. I love Prince.. However, my two LOVES of singing are Sinéad and Layne Staley... Sully is right there with them.. WHY? EASY for me... There are people who like jamming and making music.. Rock, Rap, blues.. Whichever.. There are ONLY a VERY few who are able to resonate deep into other souls... If you don't understand.. Someone may feel sorry for you... Personally speaking.. I am grateful AZFK to have been around to feel it..

I was fortunate to see her live several times in the late 80's and early 90's in Boston. Then again in 2015 in Dubai. I have always loved her voice and it always impresses me to this day.

So hard to hear that someone is died who lived with the bipolair disorder. Many of my favorite artist (Grunge scène) had the bipolair disorder and a lot of them died through several reasons. I am also bipolair and it hits me to the bone every time i hear such news. RIP Sinead, hope you have a peaceful place
