Last year I took a break due to burn out. Rejoined during Lantern Rite (ver 2.4) won 50/50 got Zhongli. Suddenly, the difficulty dropped to zero. I was AR50 at the time with most characters still on 4-star artifacts. So the difference between before and after Zhongli was night and day.
I was waiting to use other elements for reaction. But sometimes you don't even need to do that when your chars were strong enough to take down the enemies without relying too much with their party members😂
I got the game last week and I'm having a blast lol. I'm currently at AR32 so I'm dreading getting closer to mid-game point because that's when everyone starts saying the fun stops.

The days whenever I was scared of ruin guards, abyss mages and the giant Hilichurl things... Now i only fear the wolf lord things because they slowly deal damage, i stopped using a healer so everything else is easy.
Nah i always fought them regardless of my level, i remember being super low level and running into the cryo flower, i basically just got Lisa or something back then and i kept dying to it, took me multiple attempts to kill it and i was satisfied. Everytime i see a mob i just have to kill it, this urge has further increased after getting childe
the first time i ever saw a flying ruin drake was during the ghost girl quest at wangshu inn and trust me when i say that dude took me 5 days to finally kill after me dying like a million time
@@jinxed_ash It's fine just bust through it, you don't need to complete it in time. also the abyss 12-1 is so conveniently placed for damage tests (as long as it isn't a hypercarry electro). Or just you know, build 2 functional teams with enough damage lmao (ar 60 endgame prespective)
I remember the great moment where my weapons, talents, and artifacts were finally good enough that I could solo those four Ruin Guards in Gunyun Stone Forest with ease with Noelle.
Genshin turns from dark souls to Minecraft peaceful mode after ar 50. I miss struggling and needing a thousand healing items, a Barbara, and a prayer to keep me alive.

I remember my first ruin guard in the arena thingy in Mondstardt. I have level 20 traveler there but the ruin guard was like 30 ish or something and one shot my traveler. Then I spent the next 20 mins running around and chipping it slowly with level 1 amber. Then I find out that it can be stuck between the stone blocks in certain locations so I start abusing it. It still could shoot rockets but those are easy to dodge.
I started playing a little over a week ago and I def feel the first one…. if I happen to have a team on the party that I can make work together then I try not to run but still takes a while to beat…. Hope to get better soon
I love going to that one island next to Liyue harbor which spawns four ruin guards. I just love battling em. The first time I encountered them I smiled as I finally had a real challenge in the game since I was breezing through. It was so much fun.
I like fighting Ruin Guards because when you stun them by shooting their eyes, sometimes they say "...Bro". Admittedly, they used to be sorta scary, but like, also their attack pattern is easy to learn and dodge, so nowadays it's fun to play with my prey when I need their mats or when I'm resinless and bored.
That days , when i was scared of going to dragonspine to unlock that statue , because of the cold, and some frostarm lavachurls etc. Now i daily take walk around dragonspine lol
That was also me early into the game. I didn't meet anything else from the ruin family yet, exvept for guards and hunters (although I think there were drakes in the Lisa outfit quests). Interesting things. Still afraid of flying things, but they're easier to handle at this point.
