I spend my days on moments I can’t control. Answering to people but can’t even answer my own soul. Who am I deep down inside I guess I’ll never know. The future is too overwhelming, the galaxy is over taking a million roads I could travel down but none seem just right what do I do now? I'm unsure if the song was meant this way, but I really liked the line "Unexpected outcomes are unacceptable. I’d rather have the answers before I start to grow. ", as to me it showed an essential problem. Cause in our quest to figuring who we are, we often stop ourselves from going forward and are stuck in one place. The fear of taking a wrong step or a wrong path is way bigger than the trust we should have in ourselves of just doing the right thing. Sometimes I think just following our basic instincts and intuition is closer to who we really are than if we deeply analyze everything of what we can or cannot do. Thanks a lot for these songs they always give me something new to think over or rethink topics I had on my mind in the past. :)
It's meant exactly that way. Too often I've seen people expect answers to be handed to them without having to first take a leap of faith or grow. Most of the time if you want answers you have to do the scary thing first, then the rest/the answers will follow. Not the other way around.
