I live in an rv park and got the job of replacing the yard hydrants we connect our water hoses to. I discovered that some are lead free, and some are "not for potable water". I also discovered that several rv spaces here had yard hydrants "not for human consumption " installed ages ago. I've been living off one of the "not for potable water/human consumption" yard hydrants for about 6 years now! Not sure what to do about it other than install led free yard hydrants asap.
