An awesome mom! Hope I can be on this level of creative one day :) My daughter wants Princess jasmine shoes 😅 rare to find lol so I’m hunting for diy’s
Ya know, I've left your comment not responded to for months because I've been trying to think of an idea for you. But I'm drawing a huge blank! I'm sorry! Were you ever able to find Inspo?
@@ashleefalco it’s ok thank you for responding :)!!! My mom just bought me a cricut but I need to get a laptop or desktop to start using and I don’t even know where to start lol I’m intimidated 😅
These are so cool it inspired me to try it out on some vans. I am using just the printable transfer paper though and I ran into a problem becuase it doesn't really work for super detailed graphics because there will be white showing from the transfer paper. I really like those transparent transfer papers you used. Do you know if they make them for printouts on a regular jet printer?
Hello! All printable transfer sheets for clothing will have a white backing. If you wanted to forgo the HTV route, you'd need DTF transfer sheets. DTF transfers are done on a special printer with zero backing and white toner printer to create the super detailed designs that you're looking for.
@@ashleefalco Yeah unfortuantly the printable transfer paper doesn't stay on my vans. it peels right off. I am going to try vinyl cement to hold it or maybe modge podge?
for the templates you could use blue tape or masking tape and a xacto knife
I have another pair of shoes I’m doing, I’m going to try this method
Awesome!
Hope he was excited to get them.
he loved them so much he wore them once and then put them on his shelf so he didn't ruin them!
@@ashleefalco… Ahhh, what a lil sweetheart!

@@ashleefalco Got it. Thanks.
and also, what do you put on it to protect it after the transfer? If I am doing just regular jet printer transfer?
You shouldn't need anything over the top of your shoes to project them. No matter what route you choose they should be fine without anything

It’s been a year now, how long did the design last?
They’re still in perfect condition
👏👏👏👏 how did you get the blue grid for pcaman? this is so cool🤩
I imported the PacMan game background and just cropped everything out besides a couple blue lines.
I think it would be easier if you used tape to make the template...
But how would you get it off?
❤
thanks for watching!
wouldn’t that be easier to just cover the shoes in pac-man fabric??
probably, but where to find the exact pattern that I'm wanting ... I just love having the ability creating my own.
There is a easier way of doing this In fusion 360 with canvas
