Nice video, I’m pretty sure I took this route in the late 70’s and again in the early 80’s on school trips to France (Boulogne) to Folkestone and Dover from Cheltenham and Gloucester.
Thank you sooooo much for these videos. Easily the best by far. LOVE all the line information !!!. Your videos are fantastic for us modellers who want to try and replicate the real railway as much as possible. There's a hell of a lot to take into account and detail, especially in N gauge !!!. Have a great Easter and keep them coming !!!.
What i also love about this video is seeing 25kv overhead along with 750dc.....and that Southern class 377... i didn't think they'd be on this route especially running off the overhead past Shepherds Bush !!!!. I've learnt something new today !!!
@andrewbeadle9168 the issue is, the OLE at north pole depot is now connected to GWML as the depot is used by IETs. GWML is controlled from Didcot so there must be a boundary between Didcot (technically TVCC) and Rugby as the connection from the WLL is still electrified. Also I've heard that selhurst ecr shut down last year, it's last routes being the crystal palace line and epsom downs branch - it's all gone to Brighton
Excellent videos you produce, I've used them a lot during route learning especially as you put all the indications that can be received at signals. I will query whether TVC680 in the up direction can give the "T" indication as the 15mph crossover runs from the up to the down (according to the Sectional Appendix); should this have instead been included for TVC682 or would you be crossing over to cross back again OR is my SA out of date?
As far as I’m aware what I’ve put is correct. I had it double checked with a former Eurostar driver plus help from the previous videos comments section. From TVC680 indicators P and T take you to the same destination (W932 on the Down Sheepcote) however when you get a T you briefly cross over to the Up West London via the first crossover (298s) and then back to the Down Sheepcote after Latchmere No3 Jn at the next crossover (281s). Indicator P keeps you on the Down West London, through Latchmere No 3 and onto the Down Sheepcote. Hope this makes sense.
Great video. Love all the detailed annotations. Thank you.
These are Brilliant! Keep up the great work
Thank you

Impressive. Not a long journey but very interesting.
you didnt mention Victoria ASC on approach to Clapham opposite Pig Hill Sidings
Is there anywhere else in the world that manages to run freight trains on the same tracks as frequent rapid transit (overground) trains ?
FRUMOS ESTE ENGLAND-ul!!!!😃🇬🇧🇬🇧❤❤❤❤👍
Great video. Especially with all the annotations. Do you happen to have a video of this route in reverse? If so, I'd be interested to see it.
what is the ECR for North Pole Depot? Looks like it could either be Didcot or Rugby, is there an OHNS between those two somewhere in the depot?
@contrapunctusmammalia3993 the ECR would be RUGBY for OLE AT np depot
conductor rail Lewisham until Clapham the ECR transfer to SELHURST

What does "Do Not Take" mean? Thanks.
🚂👍
At 19:42 you're passing the second biggest toilet in London. (Stamford Bridge for the record-only the Emirates Stadium is a bigger khazi)
Great, but could you take the scenic route next time?
Acton to Clapham Junction ? ? ( Heh - Heh ... 😝 ? ) ...................DAVE™🛑
