awesome video! I didn't even need to download the files... if you are a intermediate photshop user you should be able to find some brushes online that do a similar job, same for the textures. and the best part is you end up with your own version of the tutorial. Thanks a lot!
Thank you for this! I've been looking everywhere for a tutorial like this. You dont happen to be familiar with Affinity Designer or Clip Studio? What Adobe charges is almost criminal. If not no worries, this at least gave me an idea. Cheers!
I am a totally fearful PhotoShop newbie. YOU made this TOTALLY ACCESSIBLE and EASY - AND I even used some of my own ideas to give it a different look - all for a NEWBIE! THE ONLY PLACE I got lost? Was way at the end, with "Bevel and Emboss" - I was trying to use it the different way, and COULD NOT find the "pixel size" you referenced. Just a heads up. NICE work.
When I use the link for this tutorial to get acces to the files.....there is nothing. No way to be able to download the source files. Did I miss something? Regards, Paul
Hey dude! simply fantastic!. Too fast? well that is why you have the pause button, if you are not familiar with the techniques discussed. Keep up the good work.
Hi i paid for the file and it works fine, is there a way to automate a batch file so it will automatically bring in the new image resize it and save it ??
@@yordiblankvoort8346 This template is older, and is only 1,600 x 1,280 pixels. So at 300 DPI, that's just 5 1/3" x 4 1/4". At 72 DPI that's 22.2" x 17.8".
They are available here, but are a purchase. I had to move Project Files from past tutorials to paid resources to support the channel going forward: designpanoply.com/project-files/rusty-vintage-tin-sign-in-photoshop-project-files
@WebCatTV The files can be purchased here: designpanoply.com/project-files/rusty-vintage-tin-sign-in-photoshop-project-files This video is from a long time ago when the channel was something else. I don't really do design tutorials anymore, or keep up with that website, so whatever is there is still available, but it's been a long time since anything new was added.
I don't have a torn paper brush. Where's the project file it's supposed to be in? I have the 2023 addition. And the pattern overlay you use is not there either. It looks like they took all of those away and left us with some stupid ones.
I have a written version of this tutorial here: designpanoply.com/blog/rusty-vintage-tin-sign-in-photoshop There are links to the custom brushes/files used at the appropriate steps, although they are not free.
Pres control right square bracket did not do anything for me. I must be watching an old videl. Can't fiugure how to get all the layers in to the rounded corner group. Dam, Waste of an hour!

This is a great tutorial BUT it's way too fast and if you want the the source files you have to subscribe and pay $9 p/m. I would rather pay a once off fee and purchase the tut.
When you look at the bottom right side of the channel you will see a gear icon...left click on it you will find a list of options ...Click on speed and change it to read 0.5 ..this will slow it down somewhat
This was a very helpful tutorial. There wasn't a bunch of babbling and I really liked how articulate he was when describing each step.
Thank you so much, and your teaching style is extremely clear, get to the point, just right amount of speed!

Sorry I don't use Affinity at all.

Excellent tutorial! LIKED and SUBSCRIBED!
Awesome tutorial. Thanks dude
This is really good, thanks.
Sad that you don't explain how to get the brushes! :(
Hey dude! simply fantastic!. Too fast? well that is why you have the pause button, if you are not familiar with the techniques discussed. Keep up the good work.
Great tutorial!
Very instructive, thank you! But how do you get this onto a tin sheet?
I was thinking the same - adhesive vinyl maybe?

Nice job !
hi, thanks for your tutorial. could i ask you a question, i can't find the icon adjustments affects all layers below?
Loving Jesus it’s gonna take me a 12 month just to do one sign,
Thanks, this was useful!
Is it possible to change the image sizewhen I buy the source pack?
You can scale it down, but you can't change the proportions of the sign.
@@NewLayer so it is possible to make the sample 20 x 30 cm for example?

Just google it guys
Thanks
How do you print this onto metal? To make a sign
get a UV flat printer
Would make a nice texture in a game.
Bummer! The source files aren't available!

My daughter remodled her kitchen. It's very 50's retro. I dont Photoshop. I do paint. I'd like to paunt this for her kitchen. Thank you.
How to print it in metal...
Also, I FOUND freaking files! EVEN a NEWBIE GETS it, GIRLZ!!!
This really sucked for me. would do the pattern overlay but when opacity is 25 nothing shows but empty squares.

you drag it lol
Nice tutorial, but you create the illusion as if the project files are free to download, which they are NOT! That's misleading
Well that was sneaky. Title should read, Sign up for a $9 monthly fee to download source files and More.

the thumbnail picture has more rust than the result in the video

Sneaky way to lead you to a site selling tuts and stuff .
