Edwin, your videos are awesome! It's incredible to see the perspective of a professional angler and you really give out good hints/advice. Thank you so much! As long as you keep putting out videos and fishing, I will keep watching and supporting.
Love you videos Edwin! I know you probably have been too busy fishing tournaments but, I would love to hear your thoughts on those homemade soft plastics that I gave you at the Classic this year. Good luck and have some fun out there on the water!
Thanks for the great advice, would you fish these same type baits including the smallmouth baits for spotted bass on clear water lakes like Hartwell or Clark’s Hill in SC
I love powerbait. I'm glad I watched because I have a few packs of the frogs and I haven't tried it yet. I think it's something my wife could fish very easily also. Thanks for the great content as always.
Amazing job like normal. Thank you for always giving tips and your thoughts. Im sure it goes a long way with most of us.
Several years ago I was fishing Kentucky Lake with my best friend, right at the Paris Landing ramp. I believe it was practice day for you guys on tour. We were flipping bitsy jigs in the bushes and waving at all you guys as you pulled in to the marina. You were the only guy that acknowledged us and wished us luck. My buddy and I talk about that to this day. Thanks for being humble, down to earth and a great source for fishing tips throughout the year.
That's ^^^^ the GoodStuff!
E squared is a man's man and nice as can be. Honestly guy's. He's as nice or nicer off camera as he is on camera.
Your "Bait of the Month" videos are so good, you should make a calendar. It would be a great reminder to keep thinking about changing conditions when we tend to get "stuck" on our favorite baits.
That's a great idea, I second that😁
Indeed.
Edwin, we appreciate all you do for the sport of bass fishing. Your knowledge and wisdom teaching younger anglers like myself mean a lot. Them Synthetic Hair Jigs look awesome! I need to learn more about them.
The NED rig is one of my favorite baits to use!
cant beat it thats forsure
When in the world does the lil’ max scent general come out? I think I need about 50 packs of em 😂😂
Love how you covered the north region. Grew up down south and fished bass for years. Now I'm up north in NY and I've been searching for Northern bass fishing specifically and haven't really found anything until your video. Appreciate it
Incredible how much info you pack into a 10min video and cover it all thoroughly. Thanks fro the great content! Oh, and every time I see you in the General Tire commercial when the rest ofthe crew is goofing off, I’m in tears. “Employee of the month my ………..!!” 🤣😂🤣👍🏼
I’m 65 year old female. I’ve just started fishing to get out and enjoy the lake! I love it! Your videos have helped so much! Thank You.🐟
You have the most informative bass fishing channel on UA-cam. I am a southern boy(58 years old) living in Chicago. I have learned to drop shot, primarily a ROBO worm and was looking for some new baits to add to my box. And for my 3rd on this post, I will be adding the frogs, D worm and the Hit worm. You just sold me on Berkley products. I shared this to my Facebook page as well. Great job and keepem coming.
Great video! I’m just a novice and there are so many good things to help me and my son. Had to see the video 3 times. ( think my head swelled just a little by the time I finally finished .) then it’s all about trying to keep it simple! Thanks again!
I'm 56 years young and just started bass fishing and am really loving it. But WOW, there is so much to learn. My first fishing trip was last weekend. I didn't catch anything, but I got a good strike on a worm (Texas rig). Anyway, I'm loving your videos. They are full of good info for me being in Arkansas. Thank you!
First video I have seen of yours.I like the fact that you cover the different areas of the nation that these baits work in and what line ect. to use. I'll have to go back and check the other videos for sure.
Hands down the best technical channel from a guy that's literally accomplished everything in fishing.
Such great July insider information on how to catch'em during the hottest part of summer. Up north here in Wisconsin water is very warm and bass need a new look as you have demonstrated. Rock the water, Edwin, and thank you for who you are. God bless!
Thank you for your videos. They have help me to catch bass. I was a salt water angler for many years but watching your videos I am having so much fun catching bass on central Florida. Thanks
Great information as usual! Keep the info coming, it really helps us guys that don’t get a chance to get out that often.
Edwin,
Thank you so much for sharing this and so much more!
It’s so great to remember that downsizing in the summer is a smart tactic.
Blessings to you and your family!
Great information. Love the way you gave proper baits and techniques for different locations in the US. Love Berkley. Thanks !
Love your enthusiasm and passion. Your sponsors should be very excited to have you on there team. Absolutely love the videos!
This video was so helpful Edwin. Thank you for sharing with everyone. I really struggle during the summer months in NC trying to figure out the best techniques to use to catch fish when the water is really hot.
Great video!.. I took leave from work this week to take my Dad fishing, he’s been recovering from triple bypass surgery.. the doctor just released him so he can get out on the boat & try to catch a giant!!.. he’s super excited & so am I!! Thanks for all the good tips & knowledge you provide for us.. much appreciated..
Just getting started bass fishing, you make it so interesting that I can hardly wait to give your suggestions a try. Thank you for being so helpful!!
Thanks for the tips!! Just starting to bass fish and trying to learn as much as I can
Man! I wish I had stumbled upon your channel sooner! I have been really struggling to find fish and have gotten a bit disheartened with fishing. But I grew up beating the banks on lakes all over SE Texas while my dad was out fishing tournaments, and later hitting the waters around our hometown…. Your energy and CONVICTION is infectious and I am ready to hit the water and give these baits and techniques a try! Thanks for taking the time!
Taking my boys out fishing today, finally got some time off. Wanted to catch some tips and here I found it. Thanks! Tight lines!
Another great video! Love that you cover the up north stuff as well as the south
Another great presentation Edwin! You sold me on the Generals. They work great. Just watched your video using the hair jig, that's was incredible.
Love all of the great tips! I can't wait to see the top three for August! I fish Lake Murray in SC and fishing is tough, especially with the boat traffic and the daily heavy fishing pressure
Thanks for the information. Love watching your channel and learning new ways and things to bass fish with. Just starting to bass fish and do tournaments
Thanks for the tips! I've been struggling the last week or so. Enjoyed the video and will have to try it out.
Thanks Edwin for the July tips down South. Always appreciate your upbeat personality and attitude. Anytime I see a video with you it’s a must watch. Keep the videos coming.
That tip about when to use synthetic hair jigs and when to use marabou really got me thinking! Thanks, Edwin. Some of my success or lack thereof with hair jigs makes more sense now. I'm going to start experimenting to see if the bass and walleye will corroborate your story. Lol
Love your bait of the month videos!!!!
I generally have those on the deck along with a big shakyhead for my home lake Pickwick. Keep up the good work!!!
Appreciate it greatly for separating up north from down south. I fish in southern Louisiana. It’s a lot different than some of the northern lakes. Keep up the good work sir.
Love the tips and tricks to help keep our lines tight and our livewells full... Appreciate the videos! Happy 4th of July bud!
You are so right about up north being different than down south. Here up north, in the PNW, we have a lot of small mouth. The ned rig and drop shot have been killer for me. Would love, love, love to get those three northern baits from you. Thanks for the video Edwin.
New to the bass fishing scene. I fish the santee cooper lakes. Slowly picking up the different techniques. These videos truly have helped me and I know they have helped others. The toughest thing for me was choosing what to throw.
Living in Texas I’ll definitely be throwing those last three baits on Whitney. Thank you for making us normals better fishermen. Keep up the great work.
Hi, I am finding your videos helpful to me as I'm a new fisherman ( about 1 1/2 years new) and am struggling to find any kind of rhythm..Boy there sure is a lot of information out there and I think I have the correct parts and pieces, none the less I am enjoying the sport even on bad days ! Keep the vid coming !
Always love the content Edwin! I fish little Vermont and can’t get enough of it. I’ll be traveling soon around the US to fish for sure! Tight lines my friend!!
Always good info. I like to hear your perspectives on which baits you use and how to use them.
Thank you for the great tips Really appreciate how East and West were talked about separately.
Buzz bait on those bright sunny days around weed edges and cover is SEVERELY underrated. Great video!
Thx, Edwin. Plz keep those videos coming. More detail about how you fish a big worm would be much appreciated. Thx
Great Video, I'm way up north in NH having a hard time so far this season so it was great that you had your best picks for the north and not just the south. Great Job Thank You Again.
I love the channel and always like the tips, keeps me guessing just like the when I'm fishing, thanks for always making great videos and all the info
Thanks for the tips! I'm heading to Pelican Lake in Minnesota soon, and will definitely be trying all of these.
Thanks for doing these monthly bait videos. They are very helpful.
I have been a big true believer of how you fish and what you fish with. I would bet on you every time to win or be in the top Five every tournament. I love your video’s!! Good luck the rest of the season!
Thank You for sharing your knowledge especially for us northern people.
I was your Marshall in a elite tournament on table rock back in 2014 and learned so much. Love to get my hands on a few of your favorites! Thanks for sharing your secrets.
I love watching your channel. Started fishing late in life. I feel you have help me become a better angler. Thank you
Thanks again for all the time and effort you put into these videos. Your enthusiasm and passion for the sport and helping the weekend and experienced anglers is second to non. I use to use a spoon for northern pike, red and white daredevil, but never thought about them for bass. At least I won't have to use a steel leader. And a barrel swivel to help with line twist? great idea. I can't wait to try the lil general too. Happy fishing everyone
Great videos, Edwin! As a Michigan angler, I sincerely appreciate your picks for northern waters. Thank you!
Finally found some flatworms in a store and have been catching a lot of bass on them with a dropshot!! Good video!! Thanks Edwin!!
Great tips on bait I’m new to bass fishing Norris lake tn it’s a hard lake to learn so keep giving tips everyone helps those of us who are trying to learn Thank You
Great tips bud! It was exciting watching you and all the others on MLF Live this last weekend! Y’all had a blast!
Hello, your videos have been greatly informative. My husband and I have never fished for bass before and now live in a different state where we needed to learn. Thank you for your tips.
I need to gain confidence in a swimbait, love throwing my spinnerbaits but need to downsize to a swimbaits like you said to give that smaller profile in warm weather. Thanks for advice! Love watching you on tour!
All great new ideas to start trying up north here . Thanks for showing the new ideas and ways to catch more fish .
E, great baits and absolutely like the way you separate the northern baits from southern bait.
Big difference when traveling and fishing in July. I need to build my confidence with the spoon. It will catch great quality, if you can find them. Great video and great products.
Be safe and God bless!
Finally some informative tips that breaks down baits between the north and south. I live in upstate NY and can tell you most of the videos on UA-cam dont really benefit us up here. Thanks for the info🤙
Have thrown the ned only a few times and did ok. Need to devote more time to better my ned fishing. As always thanks for the vids and all the work and time you put into them.
Tight Lines!
They all look like awesome baits. Great info. I will have to look at the other month's best baits videos and be prepared next year. Thanks

Watch your channel all the time and you have taught me a lot of new things you are the go to guy when I have an questions
Just picked up a new bass boat and looking to fill up my boat with new baits to help out in this July heat!
Awesome video, Keep up the good work!
I always just fished with a hook/worm/bobber float my whole life until recently, and I just started bass fishing using lures. WOW, I was missing out! I'm building up my tackle box with swim baits, crank baits, etc., and looking for tips like in this video! Thanks!
I really appreciate the "words of wisdom" you share with the each of us. As I watch and listen to your presentations it's like you and me are sitting in your boat talking about this first place we are going to have tightines together. Continue to bring your wisdom and words of encouragement...thank you.
Brent Stearns
Great video. I love Berkley Power Baits! Such a variety of ways to reel them in July...Thanks for the tips. Can't wait for my next trip out to try what you said.
Spoons for smallmouth is a slept on lure too!
Great video !!
Thanks, keep it up!!
Love the videos, great advice. From up north would really love to try the paddle tail swimmers
I've watched your videos for a long time and have learned alot on my local lake's but have never subscribed. Thank you for sharing your skills.
Thanks E! Looking forward to trying some of those techniques with power bait.
Great insight and thank you for the extra knowledge. I needed a new wrinkle in my brain!
Your monthly favorite bait segments have been so helpful in deciding what to try every month at our local waters here in Virginia!,
This is great and a wealth of information due to the fact that I rarely fish locally at this time of the year for bass or any other species . I'm mainly out fishing for trout in my local streams which has dried up or been fished out at this time. It's great that I caught this video at this particular time because I will be heading out soon to do some fishing this month. This is also perfect information because I live in the north.
Edwin,
Cant get enough of the top baits for each month of fishing. Awesome
Awesome. Great information! Good luck on the tour!!
Really appreciate you splitting up the baits between north and south. And never gave it thought that the smallmouth can still be spawning in August. I live in PA and they're usually done around here by June
Thanks for taking time to give these to us every month, they are really helpful for me here in Indiana
Great Video Edwin! Never tried those baits! Thanks for the tips, love the channel!!!!
Thanks for all the tips and trying to help the fishing community better
Awesome tip's. I definitely will be trying this up north in Michigan. Thanks for the tips.
THANKS AGAIN for your info -keeps me thinking of ways to catch BASS-ALWAYS GREAT keep all updated on your upcoming TOURNAMENTS
Hope all is well Edwin. Love watching you guys on MLF. Great job on the St. Lawrence...good luck on Champlain. I fish Cayuga and Oneida a lot. July can be tough up here. Thanks for tips.
Hey man I love your videos. That's great advice on July lures! Keep up the great videos!!!
Southern baits will be greatly appreciated... Especially after I kick this covid. Been watching fishing videos to keep me from going crazy, well when I'm not feeling like I was hit by a truck
I look forward to this video every month. Great information. Thanks E²!
I am dying to fish everyday and this video is exactly what I need! Plus I can't get enough extra bait so that giveaway would be perfect! Keep posting videos!
Edwin I watch all your videos all the time. I learn alot from you thank you.
Thanks for the videos, and sharing the techniques on what to use and how..
Would really appreciate some of those baits as well.
Haven’t fished a spoon before but I’ve always thought about it. Thanks for the comment on that to give me the confidence to throw it . Great video!
Great job explaining baits and useage down and dirty, just like I fish. I'm hooked on using in a 3/8 buzzbait (minus skirt using a Green Pumpkin Pit Boss) here in Texas, a little spike it never hurts... Tight lines
With the fishing being slow here, I have really enjoyed your videos! Good content provided at a good pace, you’re killing it.
Fantastic Information, Edwin looking forward using power bait flat worms on some smallies.
