In general, look for a good balance of stats, keep in mind that the crit rate has to be half or almost half of what you have from dmg crit, you have to raise the talents and levels. It is important that you focus on the 8 characters that you take to the abyss
kuki will be on nahida's banner, try to get her from there! she's a really good unit and even arguably better than raiden when it comes to hyperbloom teams. fischl and even lisa can work, though i personally have trouble making them work with hyperbloom. fischl is nice in a spread team though!

For a kuki dps on field yes, but for hyperbloom or quickbloom as in this video (dendro reactions) a sword with elemental mastery is better
