Let's not get "Political!" Steve puts out these videos to show us how he does his work. I could certainly defend the prices that he charges, the cost of the sewing machines and skiver that he uses or the cost of JR Leather soles. But the truth is that it's supply and demand and free market economy. If there wasn't a market for the expertise that Steve brings to the table, I'm sure that he would be doing something else! Perhaps you cannot afford Steves work or perhaps you don't want to afford his work but please don't criticise those people who do want to have Steve work on their leather goods. It's their money and their decision to spend their money on whatever they want. Who are you to judge? As a disabled British War Pensioner, I'm also on a fixed income but what I spend my money on is no concern of yours (or the Tax Man!) and criticising me for what I spend my money on, doesn't reflect badly on me, it makes you look as if you are being eaten up with jealousy.

Omg! This is from Gwen Stefani's defunct fashion line L.A.M.B., and this bag dates to around 2007-2008. I used to work at a department store that sold these and at the time they were not cheap but not super high priced either, I think this one was around $450. They were really well made for the price point, I still have a few in my handbag collection. This video is super cool to see! Thank you for sharing your gift and skills of craftsmanship with us! ❤️

I also looked it up. BUT why, why, why put PU or PVC faux leather in that bag, or ANY bag for that matter. They are at the local Goodwills, Red, white & Blue, local thrifts, garage sales. THEY peel and crack. It makes me sick to see that.

What a cute funky little bag--nice to see that the owner valued it enough to have it reinforced and enhanced by a master craftsman! Also interesting to see that when you first took it apart, there were nylon reinforcements at the handles and at the pocket--better construction than the paper backing you've showed us on some of the supposedly "higher end name" luxury bags. Glad to see another video, especially another handbag video--hope you are doing better day by day, Steve. Take care.

Yikes--I meant to write the name "Steve", Steve--not "Bedo." Just saw it and corrected it. Have a good weekend :)
