I garden to feed my soul. The dog feels like a guardian of Hades realm, protecting the souls of one realm from another, keeping them in or herding them to their proper place.

I'm in the process of collecting paintings from 1800/1900's which are in public domain.. they are in hundred thousands and it feeds the soul to see other artist's works and their approach. Also, I just scribble with a reference on the side and I don't let my mind tell me what to do... That freedom feels nourishing. There is something about making art right out of one's mind's inner vision than just vision and that authenticity is always fulfilling.
