How do i get the distance between f1 and O
Hello Kirk Hernandez, thanks for reaching out. 👍
It was explained in the video though.
To get the distance between F1 and O, first of all u must have been given the dimensions of the major and minor axis (AB and CD). The major and minor axis intersects at O when drawn. Now needle your pair of compass at A (or if you like B) and stretch to O (the centre i.e. Half the major axis). Now with the radius AO already stretched on your compass, needle on C (or D if you like) and strike line AB at F1 and F2. That will automatically leave an F1- O distance.
Hope I'm able to answer your question?
@@derickfrederickTD I think asked the wrong question sorry, i wanted to know how do I get the 1-5 point between the f1 and O
@@_kirkhernandez oh I see... OK, yes it's a matter of choice... You could step off 4, 5, 6 etc. equal spaces. This is it, the number of step offs will determine the number of points (intersecting arcs) on each quadrant. The more the number of intersecting arcs, the more perfect will be the ellipse and it will be easier to connect the locus of the points. But 5 divisions is just fine. It could be more it could be less.
@@derickfrederickTD Thanks 🙏, I get it now.
@@derickfrederickTD Hi again, I have another problem. When I use the french curve to connect all point, the points are not alligned. what seems to be the error that I have made?
You can teach buh your camera isn't really great...... For construction....
Use a better one and you're good to go 😁😁😁
Hahaha 😀.. Thanks for the observation 👍
Videos I shoot though are usually sharp. After upload the quality is dropped by UA-cam.
Also you can click on the settings of that video and view in higher resolutions. It might just be your viewing option.
I just viewed again now and it is quite sharp 👍... I think it's your viewing settings. Check it out.
Blessings 🙏🏾
