      Oh well I wouldn't know... Never heard it pronounce that way, maybe just maybe. But I know of Auxiliary circle or concentric circles method.

    Bravo! un Ellisse proprio bello;
    tuttavia sul terreno ,se vorrai tracciarlo, non ti verrà molto bene perché non potrai usare il curvilinea. Occorrerà tracciare il rettangolo in cui è inscritta l'ellisse , e la curva per punti di cui devi calcolare le coordinate riferite agli assi (a ; b); secondo le formule; 𝐲=√ [1-(x/a)^2]b^2. ed x=√[ 1-(y/b)^2]a^2
    In un mio esercizio ho trovato che l'ellisse più bello da vedere è quello che ha gli assi in rapporto a/b=16/9 e con eccentricità e=√7 ≃ 2,646..

      I was able to translate your feedback so I could comprehend what you are trying to communicate. Thanks for reaching out, I really appreciate 🙏.
      I think I perfectly understand the point you are trying to make which is absolutely correct👍. However, there is also the rectangle method of constructing an ellipse which I treated in one of my videos (u might wanna go through it). These are actually "construction methods" of obtaining an elliptical shape which are also derived mathematically as you have clearly pointed out.
      It is similar to either applying the graph method or the factorisation method to finding the roots (answers) of a quadratic equation. In this case the graph method is similar to construction while the factorisation method is similar to calculation... Just an illustration to help me pass the message. ☺
      The eccentricity of an ellipse is always less than one (1), 3/2 to be precised.
