Yep, I do the same thing, for fun. I like to challenge myself. Lately finding locations in wooded locations like hunting videos with little info. Maybe just the state or Mt range. Loads of fun. Some people you can find locations of over time as the let out little pieces of clues here ir there. With patients will eventually all come together. These are people trying not to disclose their location on purpose in real life. They are always shocked when you tell them you found them. Everyone is usually baffled, some think it’s creepy. I’m no stalker tho, it’s better than video games. You have to be a stickler for detail, small details like shadows, gravel size, discolorations. And yes, video with high def and good details, even I. The distance, is so helpful. Fun fun fun. But I’ve never had anybody ask me to find them. I’ve had people challenge if I could, but no one’s ever asked me to. But again, I’m more of the style of accumulating bits of info over lengths of time
Something to note: Even if you think you're being safe, are the people in your friends list? If you mention hanging out with a friend, but your friend mentions hanging out with you and where then it doesn't matter how much you hide. You can't control others, better to not be on social media.
