Interesting video. I have a question : did the gimbal survive the shower ? Insta clearly stated in their info that it's not waterproof at all, so I am curious to know what happened.
Hey there, we appreciate the review and your honesty in the review! Regarding the stabilization feature you mentioned, we'll try our best to explain it: The final stabilization effect of a video is influenced by both electronic image stabilization (EIS) and mechanical stabilization. Flow mainly works on mechanical stabilization. Iphones have EIS and are already well stabilized, and using Flow will further improve the stabilization of the video image on this basis. However, most Android devices do not support our calling of EIS, and the stabilization effect depends purely on mechanical stabilization. After using Flow, the effect of mechanical stabilization is further improved, so the degree of improvement in stabilization on Android phones will be more noticeable. The lack of a dedicated mode button we apologize for. For sure, navigating through modes via the touch sensor in bad weather conditions is rough, so we do note that Flow is not waterproof and it's not recommended to use it on rainy days. If you need to wear gloves, we suggest using the phone app to switch modes. We will make sure to forward your feedback on the tripod implementation, the thin and short body, and the shaky legs of the Flow to our R&D department for further improvement. We appreciate your post and hope to provide everyone with the best possible equipment moving forward!

@@adamsmite6744 Hohem M6 works very well with the default camera app. The wheel won’t be able to adjust the focus or zoom but you can control everything else. The Hohem app is limited with the S22 it doesn’t see all the cameras
Hohem from what I’ve seen is good but it’s tracking can’t match that of the Insta 360. It has a larger form factor and is not for user who want a gimbal for vacation or fun, mainly for professional applications. Hohem has better tilting abilities but the resolution settings are limited re fps. Pound for pound I think the Insta360 edges the Hohem M6 but they have different strengths and are for different users
HI FreeGafo. I have enquirers, Does this Gimbal hold the External Lens easily. cause i want to use it for the Front camera . and its going to be be on the edge of the phone. So more weight on one side.
Insta 360 Flow has the best tracking, the software is amazing but the hardware is terrible. Hohem has an amazing AI tracker, but it works up to 5 meters; you need a bit more for your case. Perhaps the middle ground is the OM6 the tracking is pretty good and the gimbal is way better than the Insta360 but the tilt axe is very limited
@@FreeGafo thanks for the reply, really appreciate it. It's so hard to decide which to get. Initially straight off the bat I was gonna go for OM6 but the heard the insta 360 flow tracking is amazing
Yes, it is. If you are considering purchasing a travel gimbal, I recommend holding off until the end of the month. There is something exciting on the horizon that you won't want to miss.
Wow. So much to say and I'm only a minute in. Iphones are shit. Androids are better. My s23 ultra has 200, 50 and 12 mega pixel cameras. That takes better phones and video than any iPhone ever made. See ya.
Android it's shit. I have still Nokia 3310 and it's better. I don't understand I have small battery and I charging only once a month. It don't have camera but still better like any android. Think clever. See ya
Samsung started after Apple and has more phone than Apple. That goes to show how much Samsung cranks out phones. Apple takes time to upgrade the phones

It was fine, the gimbal worked after drying

@4:20 you can double tap on touch wheel to change between different modes apart from moving ur finger on touch wheel
Bro how can i get insta360 flow phone clamp
On amazon or from their website
Do you recommend the hohem isteady m6 without the IA modul or the hohem mobile plus or the dji om 5❤❤❤❤❤
I have the Galaxy S22+ and I'm afraid to bought one of them if they didn't work with him

@@FreeGafo and four the s22 ultra?
I was hesitant to click on the video as you have a way of making me want stuff I never knew I wanted. 😂 Great video Gabriel.
🤣🤣🤣 cheers 🍻
Is that possible to use these gimbals with action cameras?
Not the insta360 flow.

That gimbal cannot handle external lenses or filters
@@FreeGafo thanks for your instant Reply.Do you refer me any other Gimbal for lens at selfie camera.
@@TheJourneySeekers The best gimbals to attach an external lens are the Hohem m6 and the Zhiyun Smooth 5s. But they are bigger
the gimble has a small joystick an broke for no reason.... BE AWARE! I did return it bc it was a week old.
That is terrible 😖
Build for iPhone user.. 🙄
seemed kind of bias
which one would you recommend instead?
Best cinematic is hohem best travel is still om6
Thanks 🙏
I can't find anywhere the information whether you can manage a zoom in native camera using the Insta. Can anyone clarify this please?
Unfortunately, no gimbal on the market can zoom in or out while using the native phone camera. It applies both to iPhone and Android

@@FreeGafo hey sir, is it something coming up within the budget like insta ? Would love to know more
Still the better than other expensive gimbal
I didn’t have that experience

I’m a Cinematographer and I can tell even if Android has great phones anyone’s can beat IPhones log and ProRes for filmmaking and videography yet.
