For us, a dog's life is 15-16 years.. but for a dog, it's an entire lifetime. Love them as much as you can while you have the chance. Appreciate them as family and they will do more for you.
They aren't here for a long time. It's up to us to make sure it's a great time. And they give it back so much more. It's going to be the one of the greatest experiences you're ever going to have.
Well a dog's one year is of five years to us.
So yeah they live longer than us and love them .
Not fair that a dog, who gives nothing but unconditional love has a much shorter life span than a human.

When I gave my sweet defenseless Pitbull, Cinnamon, a home, I also gave her my heart.😍💔💕. She passed of old age 5 years ago and I still miss my baby💔

Tears came to my eyes when I realized I will no longer be able to own a pet. Up in age, medical problems, etc. Had 3 dogs and 2 cats through my lifetime, and loved each one as if they were my own newborns. How I love love love animals. Whoever adopts an animal, love it to pieces because you will too, experience love and peace and contentment.
Maybe your friends can visit you with their pets...best regards for pets coming to see you

My mom is fostering a pit that is mostly white and soo skinny the vet cant tel how old he is. He's super sweet but mostly deaf
He sleeps with me and turns towards you and wraps his feet around you and lays his head on your arm. Hes really nice he is okay with cats and other dogs hes not neutered but when he starts to gain more weight we will neuter him hes so friendly that when kids walk past our house to go to school he starts wagging his tail and just wants to go meet them

A year and a half ago I had to give my home up and move into an assisted living facility.
We have been under quarantine fir over a month now due to the Coronavirus we can no longer have visitors so this made my day.
The one bright spot we have a resident who had the sweetest little therapy dog she’s 16 years old and let’s all of us cuddle with her.
Thank you for this it made me cry my son had four rescue dogs one died about six months ago from congestive heart failure he still has three of his kids left so again this touched my soul.

That's exactly what happened when I got my dog and the 3 cats from the shelter 💝🐾💝 It was love from the first sight from both sides. Since then we have 4 wonderful family members and our love for each other is unconditional 💝🐾💝🐾💝

My friend’s dog passed away his name was Slayte I loved him cuz he was a great dog but he was blind and he was old so they had to put him down we both miss him
