You guys can hold down the brake paddle and the gas at the same time. The car won’t start but it will prime the oil pump. Do that for 2 seconds let off the gas paddle only and it will start up with no noise
I have an ‘18 2.7 with 32K that I just bought a few weeks ago… I still have what’s left of the 5/60 powertrain warranty so she goes in Tomorrow for the leaky oil pan recall and this rattle… I’m hoping under the warranty I will not have to pay anything… thanks
Yes I did but it was crazy. They’ve changed the vct unit and after a month it started again so they’ve changed it again and also turbo and the noise disappeared. The second service took 3 months because the vct are out of stock everywhere. So good luck!
You bring it to the dealer! Had the same problem. I have the extended warranty but it's just a really a BIG DISCOUNT! Still had to pay out of pocket. The mechanic says this happens to a lot of fords! Got it fix and it's better, for now...
@@52cardsco i took it to the dealer and they said this problem is recalled from FORD company and they ordered the parts, waiting them to fix it and will update you, but as understand from the dealer the sound comes from the engine
@@52cardsco what was your issue? Mine sounds like in the video at regular startup, but it is SOOOO MUCH WORSE at a cold startup. My vehicle shakes, and if I don’t gas it a little bit, probably won’t turn on. My check engine light is on too.

The recall just came out today for that same thing, mine does the same.
Mine does the same thing. Plus water pump went out, now transmission seems to be slipping. Only 58k miles.
I have this sound at 56xxx miles but everything else seems to be holding up
Mine as well. 2019 with 58k. Waste-gate Turbos rattle, cam phaser replacement, and Coolant leak somewhere
needs cam phasers, Also had the turbo wastegate rattle that ford says is Normal....

Did you ever figure out that rattling/clicking noise after the initial loud rattle went away?
Sounds like the exhaust pipe is loose

Yes I did. But it was in service for 3 months
