Yeah, idk if it's intended. But zen when he has 1 ball left can literally charge 5 and shoot you with them. So when he has to reload, he just bursts 1 last round of balls at your face before reloading.

It's intended the same way zarya can do a right-click that consumes 25 ammo but can be performed at 1 ammo.

first of all, x^0 = 1 is not true when x = 0.
when you add to a power, you are multiplying by the base. for example 4³ * 4¹ = 4⁴. when you subtract from a power, you are dividing by the base. for example 4³/4 = = (4*4*4)/4 = 4². so, what if the power is 1 and you subtract 1? 4¹/4¹ = 4^(1-1) = 4⁰ = 1. generalized, 1 = (x^n)/(x^n) = x^(n-n) = x⁰.
if you're familiar with differentiation then you might imagine that the slope of y=x is 1, and the derivative is y' = (1)x⁰, therefore x⁰ = 1.
