Kerch Bridge CLOSED Explosions Heard, Belgorod Under Heavy Fire | Breaking News With The Enforcer

- The Kerch Bridge Has been closed with reports coming soon after that the sound of 2 explosions have been heard near the bridge, coming from a Crimean Telegram channel that warns the occupied territory of attacks. It is unsure at the moment if the bridge was hit or whether the sounds were of air defense, but an attack on the bridge is underway. Meanwhile inside of Belgorod Air Raid sirens blare throughout the day as Artillery and rocket fire blanket the city, with Free Russian Army forces pleading for the city to be evacuated. The Free Russian Army has made massive advances in the past 12 hours and are now encircling Belgorod's eastern outskirts, and are firing at factories inside the city that are vital for the Russian war effort. I was in Ukraine in October, and the sounds of the sirens and the explosions in the video still give me chills. I can't explain that feeling of hearing the sirens and bombs in the distance, and what it does to your nerves. Stay strong Ukraine! Xxx

And they're soo effective. Unlike guided missiles or shells they can be precisely flown into any target with the operator having the ability to change targets on a seconds whim. And they don't have to completely destroy the target, just damage it enough to be inoperable.

Evacing Belgorod would consume valuable resources, and, more importantly, disperse a bunch of terrified people into other regions to carry word that the war is on their doorsteps and isn't just some abstraction far away.
People are valuable resources. But Russia obviously doesn't care about its people.
Evacuating Belgorod will also give the Russian army the ability to "liberate" the city. Some Russians are learning what Ukrainians have been going through for the last 2 years.

The Kerch Bridge is closed whenever there is missile or drone activity over Crimea. I doubt there is an aerial drone attack on the bridge, drones could do little damage to the bridge, sea drones could destroy it if they could get through.

Germany's Taurus is longer range.
That depends on the drone. For example, Bayraktar Akıncı, with a wing span of 20 meters, can carry a payload of up to around 1300 kg. Ukraine is using Bayraktar drones; I don't know how many of these are TB2 and how many are other models.

That German Gebhart gun is really good at taking out drones. Machine guns were used a lot in WW2 but they don't work very good for modern jet fighters so they have been eliminated in favor of missiles. Since missiles don't work very well on drones and Russia does not have anti aircraft machine guns, they have no defense against drone attacks.
This is a genius tactic by Ukraine. Russia never dreamed that they would have todefend against invasion.
