  • Опубліковано 25 лют 2018
  • Hello Folks, Scott here! As promised, here's my how-to for making my Double Slider Pull-Tab Cards! I'm not very good at these process videos yet - it's hard to talk when you're measuring, cutting and pasting - I can see why so many people do voice-overs!! I hope this illuminates my process for you and convinces you that you can make these cards as well! I would love to see what you come up with! For more detailed information, pictures and product links, visit my website at cardcutups.com/

    Scott ~ you are truly My Card-making Hero! This was an expert video! In my attempts, I had part of it correct, but now I see where I went wrong. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I can't wait until you start your own line of Scott Stamps and Dies! In the meantime, Love from Lizi should be the envy of all the other stamp and die company design teams, because YOU are on it. How perfect, what a wonderful job. My grandson turns 4 the end of March and is really into Octonauts so will have to figure out how to incorporate those into a card. I have made slider cards for him before, but with the penny. I have enough time to re-watch and practice. You really did a wonderful job explaining.....and believe me, I need one on one, slow and easy to figure things out and you did that on you video. Thank you for taking the time and sharing!

    Great tutorial. Thank you. BTW, The priority plastic mailers from the post office work really well for slider cards. They don't stretch, won't break and they are free.

      Thank Lezlee! Much appreciated! I've tried the USPS tyvek mailers and that material has a tendency to crease - but haven't tried the plastic mailers... so many things will work for the conveyor belt that no one should ever BUY anything just to use on a card..!!!! LOL Spread the Cheer!

    This is an EXCELLENT how to video! Oh Scott, you've got to make more like this one!! You did an amazing job not just demonstrating but teaching! YAY!! I was wondering about the foam tape backing strips you had holding something on the sides of your cards. The ones you pull out just after you've positioned your panel to the base. How are you using those? Again my friend, this was just a superb video! Thank you so so much for showing how you did this! :0) hugs

    • @cardcutups1002
      @cardcutups1002  6 років тому +1

      Angela!! ALWAYS good to hear from you!! So glad you liked! I often use those liner-paper tabs when I'm foam-taping something to a card base - instead of removing your liner paper completely, fold it at about 45 degrees so it sticks out the side(s) and you not only have a 'handle' to place your card front, but the 'temporary tabs' keep your piece from fully sticking down until you have it in the right place... you can see me do that in the Moon Card as well... I hope that make sense? Let me know if you have any more questions!! Spread the Cheer!

    Yay! You did it! Very clear tutorial. Thank you so much! But I’m going to have to really love the person I’m making if for. Lol!! Maybe once I make one it won’t seem as hard? • @cardcutups1002

      Jeanne!! Yes.. a little fiddly... but you know me... I LIKE the fiddly and the fussy when the final result is so cool! "When you care enough to send the very best" LOL!!! I think I really like the ledge around the Glass Media Matt - It does kind of help isolate your work space and keeps all your tools and papers from closing in on you...!! I would think that if the edge of the mat was at the edge of your desk you wouldn't even notice it! Spread the Cheer!
