I bought mine last year and fell in love with it. I am not going to lie about it, at first, I was a little skeptical thinking that it would be too cheap of the quality. Once I started using it, I just fell in love with it. Just make sure you use the right type of ammo. DO NOT USE AGUILA BRAND UNLESS ITS MORE THAN 1200 FPS.

There are 3 safties on a 1911. The two you identified plus a one click safety catch on the hammer. Great firearm!

Back in 2011 they offered a 100th limited edition to the Pro 2A USA STATE&they were shipped in COLT hard lockable cases&came with 2 qty 12rd standard mags&they were marked,#1.my youngest son got the Colt m1911a1,Railed gun&it still runs flawless with copperplated high velocity ammo is all we run in any of our 22LR Semi auto handguns&rifles&carbines in our revolvers&bolt actions we run any 22lr ammo.

Only use cci mini mags regular 40 grain or cci mini mags hollow 36 grain. Dont use the cheap stuff like federal or any other cheap 22lr. I ran thru 250 cci mini mags with no jam misfeed or anythinf

Mine misfed twice and jammed twice as well, went through only two packs on cci 40 grain

You can use federal auto match just fine

@@oldArmyVet well it aint work for me that lead ammo is garbage stick with copper. When i first had my 22 i just used lead being dumb and ignorant now i use hollow copper

@@ddd366fg mine eats it fine no issues. But I've bought 22 auto pistols that would jam every other shot where others said there's shot fine also

Good video, thank you. Is there any take-up in the trigger at all? Usually not on 1911s which have a slide trigger. This comes in a rail gun (rg) model which has combat sights versus the target sights on the A1. Can you elaborate on the sights? It's white dot, yes? The sight seems low on the A1, not sure how it could be lower on the RG. Have you shot the Sig P322? Very different guns of course, but it's the .22 LR which has my interest. The Walther 1911 might be better as a training tool, since the size and weight better approximate 9Ms.
